CHAPTER 36 A WILD ESCAPE PART 3

Everyone then turned to face David with angry expressions on their faces. "David! What were you thinking about chasing King Louie, who you thought was Lesley like that!?" Norm berated David. "If you had just stuck to the plan and stayed with us and focused on escaping from The Wild Kingdom, we wouldn't be in this mess!"

Hearing this, David was shocked. But this shock quickly was replaced with anger. "How was I supposed to know it was a trick!?" David reminded Norm and the others.

"Don't make up excuses! By now, like the rest of us, you should know that The Empire is very clever," Buzz Lightyear told David. "Not everything is what it seems and you need to think about what you're going to do next before actually doing anything!"

"Hey!" David defended himself. "I'm sorry, alright. Okay. I admit I messed up big time and that was really stupid! But I care about Lesley and I would do anything for her and if there's even the slightest chance that I'll get to meet her, then forgive me for how I may act without thinking!"

"All three of you, shut the fuck up! This isn't the time to be arguing!" Frank The Sausage yelled at David, Norm and Buzz Lightyear. "In case you've forgotten, we're surrounded by everyone in the Wild Kingdom, 2 evil orangutans and a freaking giant that's about to crush us like bugs!"

"Then, we'll just have to fight our way through this!" Wreck-It Ralph spoke confidently as he clenched his fists and took a defensive battle stance. "It's wrecking time!"

"Let's beat-a that giant's ass-a!" Mario said as he pulled out and used a Fire Flower and changed into his famous Fire Mario clothes and form, while Luigi pulled out and used an Ice Flower and changed into his Ice Luigi clothes and form!

The Mario Brothers were not afraid to face Willie The Giant as they had already fought giant enemies before. Afterall, if they could beat a Giant Bowser, then they were sure that they were more than capable of holding their own against a giant like Willie!

"I'll take care of 'Big, Bad, Banana Breath'!" Spider-Man said as he pointed to the 2016 Disney version of King Louie.

"Banana Breath!?" The Giant orangutan spoke angrily, not liking how the famous Marvel superhero had just insulted him. "You're so dead!"

"Hey! What are we, chopped liver? We want a piece of the action, too!" Daxter shouted as he sat on Jak's shoulder, only to immediately regret it after realizing what he had just said. "Or we can just do nothing and let you guys take care of everything."

While Jak was a great fighter, Daxter was not nor was he very brave in the face of danger. That's why he always let Jak do all the fighting and heavy-lifting for him, that is except for those rare occasions where there were jobs and tasks that only he could do and not Jak, which he had hated every minute of doing.

Of course, even though Daxter didn't want to fight, he and Jak didn't have much of a choice as they were surrounded by many enemies. Daxter just hoped that Jak and him wouldn't get killed while trying to escape from The Wild Kingdom with the others.

"Don't worry, pals! Me and Donald will help you out! Hyuck!" The Kingdom Hearts version of Goofy said as he and the Kingdom Hearts version of Donald Duck took up battle stances and stood beside Jak and Daxter. "Let's help Spider-Man take care of that big monkey!"
