CHAPTER 34 A WILD ESCAPE PART 1

Location: Wild Kingdom. Kitchen and Dining Room. Somewhere in (former) Kenya, Africa. Thursday, September 2nd, 3127. 1:37AM.

"Ugh!" David said in an annoyed tone of voice at Lady Rose. "Are you done yet now?"

David really wanted to just get out of The Wild Kingdom now. It wasn't just because they weren't safe there and they needed to escape, but because how were David and the others going to find David's soulmate, Lesley Burke, if they just stayed where they were?

Speaking of Lesley, David was becoming more and more worried about her. After that dream he had of her awhile back, not only was he now certain that she was now in The Real World, but he had a really bad feeling that she was in trouble and he had to help her!

Then, another thought came to David. Even when he and the others did finally find Lesley, what would they do next? To be honest, David hadn't really hadn't thought of that.

Sure, David loved that girl and she was his soulmate, but that didn't mean that David could just tell her he liked her and wanted to marry her just like that immediately when they finally would meet each other in real life! That's not how relationships worked and David knew that!

Bowser was a good example of someone who didn't understand this. He was planning to force Lesley and Princess Peach to marry them against their will and neither of them felt the same way about him or had been giving a choice in the matter, but David didn't know this!

David decided that as soon as he found Lesley, he would just focus on making sure that she was okay and then try to get know and let her get to know him and just try to be her friend. Then, sometime later, if all went well, he would tell her exactly how he felt about her and only then would he propose to her.

"Almost," Lady Rose replied, though it was clear by her carefree tone of voice and the fact that she was now having Br'er Fox and Br'er Bear groom her fur that she didn't mean it. "I just need to finish having my beautiful fur groomed and I'll be with you in a minute.

"Almost!?" Frank The Sausage questioned incredulously. "You've already fucking said that to us over 35 times already since we all got back to normal size!"

"Hey! If we're going to be doing anything crazy, especially trying to escape from here, then I want to look good!" Lady Rose answered. "I got to protect and maintain my sweet reputation as the most gorgeous, female, fox like being that there is afterall!"

For some unknown reason, saying and doing this caused Lady Rose's influence and control on the Dreamworks Shrek version of Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket, who immediately regained their senses and remembered what had happened. Both of them looked at Lady Rose and glared at her angrily as they recalled all the things she had forced them to do while being her mindless slaves, but Lady Rose and the others hadn't noticed this.

"Forget about your own appearance! It's only a matter of time before someone else finds out what happened here and that we're here and then the rest of The Wild Kingdom will be all over us!" Mr. PotatoHead reminded Lady Rose. "Besides, you heard what that rabbit, Fiver, said awhile ago! There's two giants coming and I'm not going to end up being turned into mash potatoes! We need to go-NOW!"
