Location: Abandoned Power Plant. Somewhere in (former) Western Russia. Tuesday, September 14th, 3127. 2:35PM.
Elsewhere, far from Empire City, in an abandoned power plant, Lesley Burke, Wolf, Princess Peach and Princess Zelda were all sitting down in what was supposed to be a break room on a very old couch. Like the rest of the place, the break room and the couch wasn't in the best condition, but it would be good enough for them a little while.
They had found the abandoned power plant after escaping from Bowser and his castle and then abandoning his flying ship before they went the rest of their way on foot as they knew The Empire and Bowser would find them quickly if they had continued to still travel around in it. As for the power plant, after coming across it, it hadn't taken them long to discover that it actually had belonged to The Empire, but they had just suddenly abandoned it one day. According to what they could gather, The Empire hadn't used or even been near that old power plant for over 560 years!

This, of course, was good for Lesley and the others because this just meant that they wouldn't have to worry about The Empire, at least for a little while. If that power plant had really been abandoned by them for more than 560 years, then it would be the perfect place to hide and lay low until they made their next move!
Some of the furniture in the abandoned Empire power plant like the couch was still usable. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for food as what little food was still left there that The Empire hadn't taken with them when they abandoned the area all those years ago had long-since spoiled, expired and was no longer edible!
Luckily, Lesley and the others had thought of this and had stolen a ton of food they had found on Bowser's flying ship before leaving it behind. With that, they were sure that they would have enough to last them for at least a couple weeks.
After that, they had a solution to get even more food as they had also discovered a special machine in the abandoned power plant that could synthesize food out of nothing but water! But, it currently wasn't in working order, which was why Lesley and the others would have to carefully ration their food supplies until they managed to fix it, which would take them them a few days at least. They were glad, though, that like that machine, The Empire had left the instruction manual and tools for the machine when they had abandoned it, which really helped them a lot!
