"Pair, can you scan this for me?" Y/n asked, raising up the almost complete SMG. The little drone scanned it, assessing if there was any parts that need to be added for the weapon to be complete.

Pair beeped, telling Y/n that the weapon was just about ready. It was a MP5, in Y/n's timeline, many of the weapons created by Heckler and Koch in the later 1900s, and early 2000s have been constantly reinvented, thanks to their reliable nature.

While Y/n's version of the MP5 was more simplistic, and bland, that would eventually change as Y/n got access to more efficient ways of manufacturing these weapons.

"Alright, thanks Pair, lets test it, shall we." Y/n chuckled, loading thirty 9mm rounds into the curved, box magazine. He could have chambered it to take slightly more powerful rounds, but since the 9mm was readily available to buy in large quantities, it was the perfect fit.

After the SMG was loaded, and ready to go, Y/n gestured to Pair to assist him in adorning his armour which Pair had gotten incredibly fast at re-applying to the Assassin.

After a few minutes, Pair had finished helping Y/n with his armour, quickly attaching himself to the suit. "Lets get to the woods, we can test it out there." Y/n told, gripping the SMG, and walking up the stairs.

Once he got through the door, he spoke. "Initiate cloaking." Y/n said, allowing for the light-bending tech to keep him hidden from sight. When he was cloaked, Y/n wasted no time in running to the forest, and with the help of his high-tech armour, and speed, he reached the destination of his previous camping site, quickly becoming visible once again.

Y/n looked around, trying to find a suitable target to fire at. Eventually, he found a thick branch that had fallen from a tree, it was a decent size, and would be perfect for some target practice.

He decided to rest the thick branch up a tree, while it wasn't a perfect target, it would see how powerful the SMG was, and whether it could penetrate multiple targets.

Y/n took a few paces back, getting a good distance from the target. Raising the newly built SMG, he first wanted to try semi-automatic. Once the safety was off, he fired a few shots into the branch with some hitting the large tree behind.

"Semi-automatic seems good." Y/n commented on the control, and general feel of the weapon, but soon switched the firing mechanism to burst.

With a loud bang, the SMG fired 3 consecutive shots into the target, wood could be heard breaking, and shattering. Humming in satisfaction at the results, he switched to the final option; fully automatic.

As Y/n pulled the trigger, all the wildlife seemed to disperse from the area as the SMG fired all the bullets it could into the wood branch, which was now too broken, and weak, barely keeping itself together from the punishment it had just received.

The sound of gunfire was soon replaced with a clicking sound, signalling that all the ammo had just being depleted into a poor tree. "Alright, I'm loving this SMG, it should make a fine addition to my arsenal." Y/n inspected the weapon, finding no breaks or any real damage which was perfect, the gun was able to withstand constant fire without breaking.

Y/n walked up to the target, taking notice that many of the bullets had simply passed right through that branch, and into the tree behind, even then, most of the bullets had managed to piece the tree with many exit holes being seen from the back.

"Nice, perfectly handled, good power, and not much recoil." Y/n summarised, Pair beeping in happiness as another weapon they had designed together worked, giving them confidence in future projects they might undertake.

Either way, Y/n was extremely please with how the SMG turned out, it would definitely prove useful in whatever foes he would face in this strange, and dangerous timeline.
