"Open the door, Peridot! If this "Cluster" is putting us in danger, you need to tell us what it is so we can stop it." Garnet yelled angrily as she pounded on the door, trying to get Peridot's attention.
"NO! I hate you. I'm not telling you anything about the Cluster!" Peridot said, holding the door handle so they couldn't get in.
"Oh, come on! Is it like a big... hunk of... granola?" Amethyst theorised as she leaned on Pearl's back.
"What's ... Granola?" Peridot asked from behind the door.
"I'm sure it's not granola. Now Peridot, I'm sure we can reach some sort of agreement. Perhaps a trade is in order?" Pearl tried to negotiate.
"Oh, sure, why don't you just give me back my leg enhancements and my arm attachments with my screen and my log and all my information! Oh wait, YOU DESTROYED THEM! SO NO, I DON'T THINK WE CAN REACH SOME SORT OF AGREEMENT!!" Peridot yelled angrily.
The gems looked towards Y/n, who was standing near the kitchen. "I may have reverse-engineered them ... Whoops?" Y/n said.
The gems collectively groaned as they backed away from the door.
"Sorry for, interrupting your interrogation." Steven cleared his throat as he left the bathroom.
"Don't worry about it, Steven." Garnet reassured.
"I swear, Peridot is gonna crack any second now!" Pearl told.
"I'll never crack for the likes of you, you... CRYSTAL CLODS!" Peridot laughed from behind the door.
"I'VE GOT YOUR CLODS RIGHT HERE, YOU LITTLE-" Pearl was about to continue, but was cut off by Y/n.
"Hey, weren't you gonna investigate it without her?" Y/n reminded.
"Right." Garnet nodded.
"I'll come with you!" Steven told, getting excited for a mission already.
"Sorry Steven, we're gonna need you to stay here and keep, and eye on our... 'guest'." Garnet said, adjusting her visor.
"What about me?" Y/n asked.
"You stay here, Y/n. In case anything happens." Garnet told.
Y/n nodded.
"T-the Y-Y/n?!?" Peridot yelled from the bathroom, fear present in her voice.
"Looks like she's not a big fan of me." Y/n chuckled.
"Either way, keep an eye on her, make sure she doesn't try anything." Pearl said as the three gems moved towards the warp pad.
"Do you guys know what you're looking for?" Y/n asked, crossing his arms.
"No, we plan to search the kindergarten for clues." Garnet told. "Speaking of which, any ideas, Y/n?"
"Hmm ..." Y/n hummed, placing a hand on his chin. "Well, if I had to theorise, Peridot refers to it as 'the cluster', so maybe look out for any large gem shard clusters ..."
"Excellent idea, Y/n!" Pearl commended.
"Yeah dude, you should be doing our job for us." Amethyst chuckled.
"Eh ... It's not really a job ... More like a hobby." Y/n laughed, earning a chuckle from each Crystal Gem.
"Oh! Steven, Y/n, there's one more thing I have to mention." Garnet said, shortly after her chuckling died down.
"What is it?" Steven asked, getting anxious for some reason.
Garnet formed a heart shape with her hands. "I love you. Bye!"
