Pearl warped into the temple Warp Pad, and she flinched when Steven calls out to her.

"Pearl! Where have you been?" Steven asked, running over to the pale gem.

"Uh, looking for Peridot! ... For a few days straight... Steven, I know I might have... disappointed... all of you. I know Garnet is very upset with me, but I'm going to prove to her that she can trust me again!" Pearl told, trying to seem confident. "Have you seen Y/n?"

"Uhh ... Y/n's in his lighthouse, he's doesn't really know what to do." Steven rubbed the back of his neck.

Garnet soon walked through the door.

"Oh! Garnet! I was just looking for Peridot! She's bound to be somewhere, right? Any new ideas?" Pearl said, trying to get her to say something at the very least, but Garnet said nothing, and walked past Pearl. "I'm sorry..."

Garnet stopped walking at the sound of Greg's voice, who soon came bursting into the room.

"Who wants to go on a road trip?!" Greg yelled, but everyone glared at him, all looking unhappy. "Umm... Is this a bad time?"

"No. Please continue." Garnet said, stepping towards Greg.

"Well I gotta drive over to the next state, Keystone." Greg told.

"You mean the Keystone state?" Pearl questioned.

"Right, the state named Keystone. I met a guy on an internet message board who's selling car wash brushes for real cheap! I just gotta meet him in Keystone and pick em' up!" Greg informed as he waved around some flyers he had.

"I don't like those brushes; they feel weird on your fur." Steven commented.

"Well, do you like motels?" Greg asked.

"Probably." Steven said with a smile.

"Think you'd like to stay at a motel with your favourite dad?" Greg asked.

"I don't know if you're my favourite ..." Steven teased, pretending to think.

"What? Huh ... oh, you kidder! Come here!" Greg had fallen into Steven's trap, but Steven still jumped into Greg's arms.

"I can't wait to get room service!" Steven claimed with excitement.

"You're thinking of a hotel, we're going to a motel. It'll have a pool, and free ice, and it's right next to The Best Diner in the World!" Greg corrected, but Steven still seemed excited none-the-less.

"I'm coming too." Garnet told.

"What?" Pearl frowned at the unexpected arrangement.

"Even better!" Steven cheered, and gasped soon after. "We can get Y/n to come as well!!"

"Good idea schu-ball!" Greg nodded, quickly smiling. "Well in that case ... Road trip!"

"ROAD TRIP!" Steven cheered.

"Road trip." Garnet nodded. "I'll collect Y/n."

"Wonderful! I'll make sure Amethyst knows that ..." Pearl started, but Garnet moved walked past her, not really interested in what she had to say.

Garnet soon left the beach house, planning to inform Y/n of this road trip they plan to go on.

Thankfully, it didn't take the fusion long to reach Y/n's lighthouse, she knocked on the door and only had to wait a few seconds before Y/n opened it.

"Oh! Hey, Garnet! What brings you here?" Y/n asked with a smile.

"Greg, is taking Steven and me on a road trip, would you like to come along?" Garnet questioned, silently hoping the answer was yes.
