"SHE DID WHAT?!" Lapis yelled as she stood up from the sofa in the lighthouse and summoned her water wings.

"It's okay! Steven poofed her!" Y/n told, trying to calm her, luckily he succeeded, allowing her to drop back to the sofa.

"B-but ... She hurt you! And I didn't know!" Lapis complained.

"It's my fault, I let my guard down." Y/n reassured as he pulled her into a hug. "But she's gone now, Steven told the others what happened."

Lapis sniffled a bit. "How are you feeling?" Y/n asked, remembering the outburst she had.

"I'm ... Okay ..." She sighed. "It was just difficult seeing her ..."

"Yeah I bet." Y/n nodded as he pulled the blue gem closer. "It didn't help the fact that she tried hurting me and Steven, all because we didn't agree with her."

"You said she ... What was it again?" Lapis asked, looking up at the human.

"Oh, she wanted Steven to use a weapon she made ... it was designed to shatter gems ..." Y/n recalled. "She said it works in a similar way to my weapons, but I disagreed, saying that I don't intend to shatter."

"Wow ..." Lapis said. "That's just evil ..."

"Yeah ..." Y/n nodded. "Least it's over now."

The two sat in silence, snuggled up to each other as they stared into the blank TV screen. "Oh yeah, where's Peridot?" Y/n asked, breaking the silence.

"Oh, she's in your workshop looking at that weird machine." Lapis informed, earning a hum from Y/n.

"Is it alright if I check on her?" Y/n asked.

"Hmmm ..." Lapis hummed. "Okay ... Just ... Come back alright?"

"Yeah, of course." Y/n smiled as he stood up. "I'll be back soon, I promise."

Y/n walked around the sofa and headed to the door, once he opened the door and headed downstairs, into the workshop, he was surprised to see Peridot leaning against the machine with a forlorn look on her face.

"Y/n!" Peridot jumped up and ran over to the tall human, taking his legs into a tight embrace. "You're back!"

"Yep, that I am." Y/n smiled. "You probably won't like what happened though."

Peridot pulled away and looked up at Y/n with a concerned look on her face. "Why ...?" She asked carefully.

"Well ... Long story short ... Me and Steven disagreed with Bismuth and then she got angry, hurt me, and then tried to hurt Steven." Y/n summarised. "But Steven managed to poof her, and now she's bubbled."

"What?!" She screamed. "That ... CLOD! Are you okay? Humans are fragile!"

"I'm fine ... She dislocated my arm, but I managed to pop in back in." Y/n reassured with a smile. "Then Steven helped me in case there was any internal damages."

Peridot grumbled. "What was the disagreement about ...?" She asked, not entirely sure if she wanted to know.

"She built this weapon that she was fully intent on shattering gems with ..." Y/n recalled. "The only reason she was in the bubble in the first place was because Rose disagreed with her as well, but she didn't budge."

"I ... See ..." Peridot told, put off by the fact a seemingly friendly gem would build a weapon with the sole intent of shattering. "I'm glad to see that you are okay."

"Thanks Peri." Y/n smiled ruffling her hair. "But what were you up to? Still trying to figure out the machine?"

"Yes ..." Peridot groaned. "It's such a complex machine with no specific purpose!" She said, taking Y/n's hand and pulling him towards the machine. "There's so many things it could be."
