Chapter 84: The meeting

Y/n was currently standing outside a blue, diamond-shaped door. He was waiting for Indigo to let him into the meeting room, she had decided she would inform them of his presence first instead of straight-up surprising them.

Y/n, of course, agreed, since he couldn't be seen in their future vision, it was only fair that he shouldn't scare them. In fact, there was going to be three other Sapphires in this meeting, one of whom regularly worked in the courthouse, possibly having some information on Steven and Lars' whereabouts.

The door suddenly opened, revealing Indigo. "Y/n, you're welcome to come in," She said in her usual stoic voice. "I've informed them of everything you told me,"

Y/n nodded. "Thank you," He said as the Sapphire stepped back into the room with Y/n following shortly after.

The room surprised Y/n. When she said they were having a meeting, he expected something more ... Grand?

It was a small blue room with a single table in the centre. And that table had those weird, uncomfortable-looking chairs surrounding it. "Uh ... Hi?" Y/n said as he looked at the three other Sapphires.

Indigo was sat on the far left, leaving a chair for Y/n to sit in on her right. The Sapphire that was sat next to her had a much darker shade of blue for her colour, the dress was relatively the same, but her gem was located on her cheek.

Now, what was even weirder was the two Sapphires sat opposite Indigo. They looked exactly the same! Both gems had their placements on their navel, their colour shading was almost similar to Indigo's but slightly different. Everything else though was the same!

"Greetings, Sap ... Indigo, told us about your human 'friends'," The cheek sapphire said, saying friends as if it was a foreign word.

Y/n nodded, taking a seat at the table. "It is an honour to speak with you," One of the twin Sapphires saluted with the other doing the same not long after.

"Same to you guys," Y/n crossed his arms. "But enough with the formalities, who works at the courthouse? Did anything happen with Steven and Lars?"

"They escaped during the trial," Cheek Sapphire said, "Rose's lawyer made a very daring move ... That move caused the two humans the opportunity to escape with Blue Diamonds Palanquin."

Y/n hummed, in thought. It was strange that everyone called Steven Rose ... Does everyone refuse to believe that he's his own person? "Does anyone know where they went?" He asked.

This time, one of the twin Sapphires spoke up. "Some Robonoids have been set to scan the area," She said, but her sister was the one to continue. "It is believed that they have escaped into the old kindergarten,"

"The old Kindergarten ..." Y/n hummed, that was going to be a load of ground to cover if it's anything like the ones on Earth. It was still good to know that they had escaped the trial and were okay, for now. "You said Robonoids are searching for them? Are there any gems searching as well? Or just some of those Robo-thingies?"

The twins both nodded. At the same time which was a bit off-putting. "Amethysts have been dispatched into the Kindergarten, though, I don't believe they'll find them," One of the twins said.

"Yes, we believe the humans will escape the kindergarten with some help from 'certain' gems ..." Cheeky jumped in, air quoting the word certain.

"How do you ..." Y/n was about to ask, but then realised that they could see the future, all of them. "Oh, you guys can see the future, right? Well, any ideas where I should meet them?"

Indigo then pipped up. "Actually, that's what we were discussing before you entered," She told, "It's hard to say for certain where they could end up, the possibilities are endless ... But we've narrowed it down to a ball that will be taking place in Facet 26,"
