Season 9
Bobbie's Point of View:
Maggie, Cyndie and I walk through the woods, doing our part of the grid work. Neither of us said anything but listened for the walkie.
"Stay sharp, eyes open." Rick says. "We still got missing people out here." The three of us see a small group of walkers heading off to the woods and we hear a metallic banging. It's possibly where the walkers are heading off to.
"Got some activity nearby. Gonna go check it out." Maggie says.
"We're headed your way." Rick says. "Grid 5, do the same." He demands. Maggie, Cyndie and I make our way to the noise.
"There's a house, off the road." Cyndie says. "Could be coming from there." Maggie and I stare at Cyndie, wondering how she knew this. "We used to live near here. Before Oceanside." She explains. Maggie, Cyndie and I find an old cabin-like house. We see the group of walkers reaching up for the sheet of metal partly hanging off the roof that blew by the wind, creating the noise. We move closer and hid behind an old rusted truck. The sign made more noise and we knew if we didn't do something, it'll draw more walkers here.
"Okay. We gotta take it out before it draws more of 'em. Guys good to follow my lead?" Maggie asks.
"Yeah, already there." Cyndie says. Maggie looks at me and I nod my head. Maggie focuses on the sight and I knew the wheels are turning in her head.
"Okay. Cyndie, you get the roof, we'll get them." Maggie says.
"On it." Cyndie says. She quickly and quietly makes her way to the back of the house as Maggie and I began drawing the walkers towards us. I run up the front stairs and drew the walkers on the porch towards me, clapping and whistling after them. I pull out my knife and began taking the four walkers out, one by one. The last two are close together and came closer and closer to me. I take a step back and my foot goes through the floorboard. I fall down and I look up, swinging my knife out at the walkers.
"Bobbie!" Maggie screams. The walkers fall to their knees and crawl to me. I easily kill the first walker and it falls right on top of me, pinning me down to the floor. The second walker falls on top of the walker and tries snapping at my neck. Within seconds, the walkers head explodes and it's guts and brain spills all over me. I look up and see Rick pulling the walkers off of me before grabbing my hands and lifting me from the knee high hole I was in. Rosita and Daryl show up with Rick.
"You okay?" Rick asks me. I nod my head and wiped the guts and blood from my neck and face. I look at Daryl and show him a small smile. He doesn't react and looks away, walking over to Cyndie and checks on her instead.
"What happened to grid 5? Should've been here before us." Rosita asks. Rick pulls out his walkie.
"Grid 5, what's your status?" He speaks in the walkie. We wait for a response but get nothing. After trying three times, Rick declared we get to grid 5 and fast.
Once we got closer, Rick picks up the pace and runs to. We all see a body lying around the area. Cyndie approaches Bea and checks for a pulse.
"Bea." She softly calls. I look around and try wondering what had happened around here. "Bea, wake up." Cyndie says. Bea begins moving and she pulls her hand up to the back of her head.
