M U T E D
Season 9
Bobbie's Point of View:
I unlock the door and forcefully push it open. Geez. It's only been snowing for a week and already everything is beginning to freeze. Wonder what bad thing could happen next.I finally step inside the cell and shut the door behind me. Negan pulls himself from the bed and he looks up at me.
"Either I'm goin crazy or I just heard you slip and fall down those set of stairs outside." He starts.
"You heard nothing." I frown at him.
"Did I, though?" He asks. I scoff in embarrassment.
"There was ice and I slipped. Big deal." I shrug at him.
"And I would've concluded you were just dumb and clumsy. But there's a reason you're here. Came to keep me company durin the incoming storm?" He asks.
"You need someplace warm and safe. I'm here to get you." I tell him. He huffs out a smile.
"I'm sure they're dreading the idea of me joinin their hot coco/christmas party." He says.
"It was me. I knew you'd freeze. So, they said if I really feel that way about you, then I had to come get you myself." I explain. "So...get dressed, warmly. It's a little nippy out there." Negan pulls himself up, pulls his socks and boots on, throws on a jacket with a heavier coat on top. He then walks over to the cell and I approached it myself, holding up the key.
"If I take you out...by myself...you won't do anything to me, right?" I ask him.
"I'm trying to change myself, Bobbie. A man can only do so much to change his image." He smiles.
"I need a promise that you won't hurt me or leave me out there in the cold." I frown at him.
"I heard you're just now getting back on your feet from nearly bleedin out to death by Alpha and her people. What kind of guy would I be if I just undid your stitches and left you out there to die?" He says. I held a stare with him. "I'm saying I'd be a complete dick if I did. But, sure, yeah. If you really want me to promise you that, I promise." He smiles.
"I'm still learning to trust you so I can do you a favor of getting out of this shithole. Work with me. Please, for the love of god." I scoff at him.
"Yes, ma'am." He smiles. I finally unlock the door and let him step outside. I stop him before he could go any further.
"Hate to break it to you, but you will need to be chained up." I scrunch my nose. Negan complies and holds his hands up for me to chain. I easily bound his wrists together and we walk over to the door. I opened it up and a gust of wind hits us. The wind was so cold, it felt more like thousands of knives just thrown right at our faces. I slammed the door back and huff out a breath, looking at Negan.
"'A little nippy' my left ass cheek! And you want us to walk through that? We'll get frostbite five seconds bein out there." He frowns.
"Would you rather stay here in the cold and possibly get sick or would you rather be with the others keeping warm?" I question him.
"I can think of plenty ways how to keep you and I warm." He smirks. I punch his arm in anger. "I'm just teasin, Bobbie. A boy friend can't tease his girl friend?" He laughs.
"Who said we were friends?" I question him.
"Ohh, touché." He smiles. "Look, I know you're with Daryl. Pickin on you, we'll, that's just something I can only do to you. Everyone else around here takes my shit personal. But you, darlin, you seem to have a great, maybe even dark, sense of humor." He leans in close to my face cheesing hard. "And I like that." He whispers. I roll my eyes at him.
