M U T E D
Season 10
Bobbie's Point of View:
I run farther and farther away from the horde of walkers. I had ran into a couple of walkers as I ran, easily taking them out. The three whisperers that had spotted me, never gave up. They ran after me, throwing their knives, trying to get me.
I jump over a large log and tripped over a small hole, flying forward and rolling down a ditch. I look around me and crawled into a small little hole under a tree. I pushed myself in as much as I could, grabbing the mud and spreading it all over my body. I pull my knife out and kept myself quiet and hidden. I hear fast and heavy footsteps above me and I slowly shut my eyes.
"Where did she go?" One Whisperer asks.
"She could've have gotten far." The second says.
"We should stay together and look around." The third says.
"It's a woman. Three men against one woman, I'm sure we can take her down. We split up, look for her." The first one says. The footsteps dispersed and I waited around to make sure it was clear. I pull myself from the hole and crawled my way up from the ditch. I look around me and spotted a whisperer just 20 feet away from me. I quickly pull my bow, loaded an arrow and fired at him. The arrow hits him in the head and he falls to the ground with a thud. I quickly run after him, retrieving my arrow.
"She's right there!" I suddenly hear. I turn my head and see the whisperer charging at me with his knife. I quickly loaded an arrow and shot him right in the chest. The whisperer falls to the ground and two walkers come at him, munching on his body. I hear a grunt and turn my head. The third whisperer throws his knife and I duck down, seeing it land in the tree. I quickly pull away and ran back towards the horde.
While following the horde, I made sure to keep a sharp eye out for the last whisperer. The horde lead to a small town. The front of the horde banged at some doors, trying to get in. The back of the horde pushed their way forward.
"Where's Carol? Where's Beatrice?" I suddenly hear. I turn my head and find a group of people hunched down, two standing. The group all had hoods on and they've got blood and guts smeared all over them. I take a step forward and hid myself. I couldn't tell who these people were and what they were doing. But the only way I knew it these people were, was how they were covered in blood and guts. One of the people standing up pulls their hood down and reveals to be Daryl. I smile forms across my face and I felt myself relieved and happy and excited. I finally stand on my feet and I lift my hand up, waving for Daryl to see me. Sudden screams fill the air and I turn my head. The screams are coming from inside the horde, but I couldn't pinpoint where. As soon as I took a step, I'm suddenly tackled to the ground.
"You thought you could escape us? We're everywhere! We know where you always are!" The whisperer growls. I punched him in the face and he lets out a grunt. A few walkers from the back of the horde turn their attention to us. The whisperer pushes me towards the walkers and he runs off in the other direction. Anger fills up my chest and I pull myself up, jabbing the blade into a walkers skull. I turn back and run off in the direction the whisperer ran off to.
For the past couple of hours, I hunted down the whisperer. I lost track of him for a while until I picked up on his tracks. Hours before, a loud speaker playing music blares through the area, but I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.
