M U T E D
Season 2
Bobbie's Point of View:
It's sunset. Everyone is heading inside the house to go over whether we agree or disagree to kill Randall. I'm with Dale 100%. That hasn't changed. It's like I told Dale that I didn't save Randall's life for nothing. I know there's something good for him coming soon, I know there's something good we can do for him. He's just a kid. We just have to trust him. Put him to the test of we have to.
I stood outside the house, staring at it. The feeling I have is still lingering. I'm trying to wait for it to pass but it feels like there's no sign of it passing any time soon. What do I do? Is it about Randall? Is it something good? Is it something bad? Whatever happens in the house will happen. And I can either agree with it or I'll have to suck it up and let Rick do what he has to do, even if I think he's making a mistake.
"Hey." I turn my head and see Daryl standing next to me. I show him a small smile. "You goin in?" He asks.
"You go. I'll be in, in a sec." I say. He huffs out a breath and he grabs my hand in his.
"I already told you, but I'm telling you again, B. I know you may not love me back or maybe you're not ready to say it. But I just want you to know that I do. I don't know if you have tonight or tomorrow or weeks or months or years left to live, but either way. I just wanted you to know." He leans over and kisses the top of my head and he walks inside. I close my eyes and took a couple deep breaths and finally walk inside. I look around the living room and decided I'd stand next to Dale. He shows me a smile and squeezes my shoulder.
"So how do we do this? Just take a vote?" Andrea asks.
"Does it have to be unanimous?" Maggie asks.
"How about majority rules?" Shane asks.
"Well, lets-lets just see where everybody stands, then we can talk through the options." Rick says.
"Well, where I sit, there's only one way to move forward. Killing him, right? I mean, why even to bother to vote?" Dale speaks up.
"Well, it's pretty clear which way the winds blowin." Shane says.
"Well, if people think we should spare him, I wanna know." Rick says.
"Well, I can tell you it's a small group. Maybe just me, Glenn and Bobbie." Dale says. He looks at me then Glenn, but Glenn's face says otherwise.
"Look, I- I think you're pretty much right about everything, all the time, but this-"
"They've got you scared!" Dale argues.
"He's not one of us." Glenn defends. "And we've- we've lost too many people already." Dale turns away.
"What about you? Do you agree with this?" He asks Maggie.
"Can't we just continue holding him prisoner?" She asks Rick.
"Just another mouth to feed." Shane says.
"It may be a lean winter." Rick says.
"We could ration better." I step in.
