Season 4

Bobbie's Point of View:

Hershel and I sat awake in a trailer with our hands tied behind our backs. Michonne is our cold still. I worried for her. But I knew apart of me that she was okay.

"What do we do?" I ask Hershel. "Who's the guy? What does he want?"

"He's the Governor." He says. "Best that we do as he says and try to talk him out of whatever he's got planned."

"But what about-" I head Michonne moaning beside me. She picks her head up and sees that we're all tied up.

"The Governor." She growls. A knock suddenly grabs our attention and we see him walking in. He looks at Michonne before reaching up and grabbing a first-aid kit. He bandages Michonne's forehead, to which she didn't like.

"Get off me!" She hisses are him.

"You should eat. It's gonna be a long day. Nobody's gonna hurt you." Governor says.

"I don't believe that." Hershel says.

"Well, I don't care." Governor says.

"Just tell us what this is. Please." Hershel says.

"It isn't personal." Governor says.

"Then what is it?" Hershel asks.

"Michonne, I want you to know...Penny, my daughter, she was dead. I know that now. Now, I don't want to hurt you. I don't want to hurt anyone. I need the prison, that's it. There are people I need to keep alive. You three are gonna help me take it. No one needs to die." Governor says.

"I'm gonna kill you." Michonne growls.

"No, you won't." Governor brushes her promise off.

"I'm gonna take my-"

"Stop it." Hershel says. "You want the prison?" He asks the Governor.

"Yeah, and I'll take it as peacefully as I can." He says.

"Governor-"

"Don't call me that."

"Your people, our people. We can find a way to live together. These people you need to keep alive, do you love them?" Hershel asks.

"You're a good man, Hershel. A better than Rick." Governor says.

"Everything you've said, the way you've said it, you've changed. So has Rick." Hershel says.

"The two of us will never be able to live together. Michonne and I, we'll never be able to live together." Governor says.

"We'll find a way." Hershel says.

"I found a way!" Governor yells. I'm trying hard. There's all kinds of ways I could do this. This way, you get to live and I get to be..." He stands up and heads for the door, but Hershel stops him.
