M U T E D
Season 2
Bobbie's Point of View:
"Glenn! Glenn!"
"I...I-I-I'm alright. I'm alright!" Glenn shouts back. I crawl over back to the end of the bar and peak my head around. I noticed that nobody was nowhere to be found. I furrow my brows in confusion.
Where did they go?
I sigh and lean out a little more to double check that everyone was still here, but the bar was empty. A hand suddenly covers my mouth and I let out a gasp as I felt my body getting pulled back.
"Shh! Shh! Shh." It's Rick. He releases my mouth and I finally turn to him. "You okay? You aren't hurt or anything?" He asks. I shake my head. He wipes under his nose as he nods.
"Okay," he stands on his feet but keeps himself hidden as he peaks over the bar. He falls back and looks at me. "Hershel and Glenn are gonna make a run for the car. Their gonna pull out to the back, then you and I will make a run for it. Then we'll get the hell out of here. Alive." He explains. I nod my head. He peaks his head up again before grabbing my arm and lifting me up on my feet.
"Okay. Let's head for the back door. Go. Go. Go. Go." He whispers. We get up and quickly run for the back door. As we get down the three, concrete stairs, a couple of gunshots echo around us. Rick runs faster and he gets to the back door where Hershel stood.
"What happened?"
"He fired. He must've hit Glenn. He's behind the dumpster. Doesn't look like he's moving." Rick and I turn our heads to the left and see a man lying in the grass as he rolls side to side, groaning and crying. Rick then ducks down and picks up Glenn's rifle, pointing it in one direction, and his python in the other. I can see Glenn's feet sitting completely still behind the dumpster.
"You hit?" He asks Glenn. "Are you hit?" Hershel and I don't hear a sound from Glenn, but Rick finally gets to his aid and we see Glenn move his feet. Rick suddenly leans over and he waves his hand over. Hershel taps my back and he signals for me to go first. I kept my arrow pointed ahead of me as I moved fast, yet quietly to Rick and Glenn. Hershel and I meet them and we sit down in front of them. Glenn is okay, he isn't bleeding. He must be in shock.
"We're almost home." Rick whispers to us. We can see the truck just ahead of us. "Let's go." Rick stays low as we moved but more gunshots suddenly come at us.
"Get back!" Rick yells and we do as he says. The sound of tires coming to a halt catches our attention and we see a white, lifted pickup truck stopping across the street.
"Let's get out of here! Roamers all over the place! Hurry up!" The driver yells.
"What about Sean?!" There's another guy up on the roof. He must've shot at us when we tried making a break for Hershel's truck.
"They shot him! We gotta go! Roamers are everywhere!" Another man shouts from the truck.
"We're leaving?!" The guy on the roof yells.
"Jump!" The man, who happens to be a teen, hesitates to jump from the roof and his buddies rush him.
"Hurry up, jump already!" The kid jumps from the roof and we could hear are bangs and then screams.
