Kylo Ren's P.O.V.
"Come on, Ani... This will help. I promise."
"Kylo. I can't move."
Anakia groans out through her pillow. She's laying face down on our bed like she's playing dead. It's been a week since we started training and the physical work isn't agreeing to her body.
Every day this week I've been coming home to find her like this. I understand my workout for her is extremely intense, and she hasn't complained once about it, but she's become a zombie lately. We spend every morning working each of her muscles.
We'll eat lunch together, then I'll walk her back to our room after. I leave her each time to do my other responsibilities and give her the rest of the day to herself, but every time I come back, she's in this position. We haven't even begun her lessons with her new saber, only physical workouts, and I can't have her like this when the time comes to do both.
I watch her in pity at the foot of my bed. She's still in her training clothes from this morning. I'm standing in my uniform without my helmet on; I discarded it on the chair when I came in to greet her.
The moment I saw her still like this today, I left to get bags of ice. When I came back, she still hadn't moved. I poured the ice in the tub and filled it with cold water, though she still hadn't bothered to notice what I was doing.
She just stays with her face in her pillow, her arms and legs laying limp. I can hear Snips in the bathroom messing with the cold empty bags I used to hold the ice. Even that hasn't gotten Anakia's attention.
Sighing in my frustration, I take off Ani's boots she's still wearing. She doesn't move to make it easier for me and I feel my patience wearing thin. She's not the only thing testing my patience, though.
I still haven't found the pieces on the map that I need to find Luke's location. Not only that, but the First Order is behind schedule in building a weapon to destroy the rebellion's bases. I've gotten word that a girl is companion by my father on the falcon, but I don't dare to think about that.
If Anakia sensed it in my mind, she'd ask a million things along with having more conflict about her place here with me. The last thing I need is for her to get the news that Han is still alive and with another force sensitive girl.
No doubt also trying to recover the map to Luke's location. All I want Anakia's mind to be focused on is her training and me. Unfortunately, she's been lacking on the latter.
"Anakia, I swear. Come here."
I demand with an authority tone and she doesn't even flinch to move. For half a second, I believe I might have pushed her too hard. Grabbing her thighs, I tug her toward me until her legs hang off the bed.
When I'm able to hold her waist, I pull her up and off the bed. I hear her whine as her feet hold up her weight from me, making her stand up. Wrapping my arm around her waist, I guide her toward the bathroom. Treading her feet, she leans into my chest, groaning.
"Kylo, I just want to lie in bed. Everything is sore, relieving myself will not change that."
"I'm not taking to our bathroom to use the toilet, Ani."
I snort as I pull her inside the bathroom and step over Snips. She's looking at Ani in worry and jumps onto the counter to get a better look at her. Rubbing her face tiredly, Ani looks around the bathroom to figure out what I'm trying to get her to do.
Her eyes stop at the tub filled with ice water and leans back into me to stop us from getting any closer. I nudge her a little and her feet slide against the floor. She tries to walk back, forcing me to tighten my grip around her. Shaking her head with her eyes on the tub, Ani blurts out.
