Anakia's P.O.V.

"You're ready."

Carmon announces while stepping back to see the finish product. She suited me up in my black armor to prepare for my first mission with Kylo Ren. Staring at her, I clip my saber to my hip and grab my mask from the desk.

Snip is sitting between the pillows on my bed as if she's worried something is coming. Glancing at the mirror, I finally what I've become.

I'm in the same black cloak, pants, knee-high boots and strapless shirt I wore when I sparred with the Knights of Ren, but Carmon adds a few more modifications since this is an actually outing. Now I have leather gloves similar to Kylo's, but it's up to my elbows.

I have dark eyeshadow on and my hair's straight and slit back to be out of my face. Putting on my mask, I notice how fearsome I would appear to any average person.

"I believe he's waiting for you in the hangar."

"Thank you, Carmon." I let out in a robotic tone and peer back over to her. Smiling awkwardly, she shrugs her shoulders and thinks out loud. "I'd say good luck, but I know you won't need it."

"Where I'm from... We say, may the force be with you." I mention start walking toward the door. When reaching the door, I hear her call out from where she stands. "Then, may the force be with you... Ms. Kenobi."

"And to you, my friend." I nod to her with a smile on my lips that she can't see. "Stay safe."

Leaving Kylo and I's bedroom, I walk down the hall towards an elevator. I can sense my palms getting sweaty, but I push my nerves to the side as I get inside the elevator. It's been two days since I fought the Knights of Ren.

Between those two days, Kylo has been educating me on what planet we shall fly to and how I must handle the resistance. He made it clear I shall not show mercy to anyone who aims to kill and the moment I see Han and the scavenger, I must bring them back to our ship. He also demanded if I had not seen him for half an hour to return to the ship without question.

I'll admit I'm very rushy on executing a mission properly. Whenever we went on a mission with Luke, it had been a learning exercise and he had always been by our sides. This is different, though; I'm on the other side of the battlefield.

This isn't a teaching moment, and I have to rely on myself to finish the mission right. However, I don't feel on edge about killing a soldier in battle. Luke had always reminded us not to dwell on pain for killing someone.

He explained it's a part of battle and never to overthink it and for me at the moment; I don't sympathize with the First Order or the Resistance. Only Ben and Han, which Luke might say is worse because my feelings are what's effecting that. Once the door opens, I get out of my thoughts and walk out of the elevator and out into the open of the hangar.

Troopers are in line walking into ships and some ships are already flying off into space. Scanning the platform, I find Kylo standing beside his ship, listening to General Hux. Coming closer, I hear Hux saying to Kylo, almost irritated (as usual).

"Both of you will miss my speech, but you won't be able to miss the..."

When stepping towards them, I watch Kylo's helmet turning to face me. This makes Hux glance my way before finally settling his gaze on me. His words die on his tongue at the sight of me.

It takes a second for him to realize I'm still the same Anakia Kenobi he's met time after time again. As I come into Kylo's reach, Hux blurts out, a little stunned.

"Ms. Kenobi... Why... You look terrifying." His eyes roll down my body and add questionably, "What happened to the princess's dresses?"

"I outgrew them." I spit out shortly without glancing his way. Nodding to Kylo, I ask, as if I've been ready to leave this planet for hours. "Ready?"
