Anakia's P.O.V.

"Still fits..."

I murmur with a smirk dancing across my lips. Ben sends me a look while adjusting his pants. We put on our old clothes and my old apprentice attire still fits me.

Admiring my tan color wardrobe and robes, I watch Ben roll up his sleeves. I have changed a little in size over the years, but I can't say the same to Ben. His pants are tighter than before because of his thigh muscles, but at least he's always been tall.

Ben's pants are the right length for his legs. His white button shirt is tight around his chest, forcing him to unbutton a few more buttons than usual. When he's finished rolling up his sleeves to his elbows, Ben states with pride.

"I'm glad mine doesn't still."

"I don't know..." Smirking while twisting out the rest of the water in my hair, I tease. "Looks like it to me."

Rolling his eyes, Ben unzips the bag of food and begins setting it out on the blanket. It's dark outside, and we just finished changing into our clothes after cleaning up in the lake. Our hair is still damp, but it'll be fine soon.

Turning to face the lake, I glance behind me and smile at the sight. I'll never say it out loud, but Ben looks like his father. White and tan colors suit him better than black, but I'm sure he'd be offended if I told him that.

Turning back around, I walk towards Snips, and find her sleeping on my dirty dress. Feeling something pinch my ass, I snap my head back to find Ben right behind me now.

"I'm going to get some firewood." Beaming down at me, Ben goes into the line of trees and starts picking up branches, saying. "I'll meet you back there in a moment."

Nodding, I continue to walk to Snips and pick up her sleeping body. Coming back to the blanket, I spread it out on the sand better and plop down next to the green lantern and wait for Ben. Setting Snips beside the bag, I open a bag of substances and scan the beach.

Eating what's in the plastic bag, memories of this place fill my mind. Each stop on the beach and lake is a distinct memory of me and Ben. Hearing movement near the woods, I turn to find Ben coming out with an arm full of logs and another arm of branches.

Moving up to me, he offers me a smile while setting the wood in a certain way a foot away from the blanket. He clicks his light saber from his hip and activates it. Grabbing a branch with leaves still on it, he brings it near his saber until the heat of the blade catches the leaves on fire.

Shutting down his blade, he puts the burning branch underneath the logs. Watching it slowly catch all the other branches on fire, Ben comes to sit by my side. Once the branches go up in flames, the logs soon surround in flames as well.

Sitting beside one another in silence, I lean my arms on my knees like Ben's doing. We stare into the fire, enjoying our peace while we still have it. I can sense his mind on Snoke and the First Order.

I know he senses my mind on Luke and the resistance (or rebellion, I'm still unsure what they call themselves now), but somehow both don't matter. What only matters is what's between us. Feeling a sense of growth between us, I brush my fingers against Ben's hand.

His hand slowly turns as our fingers skim each other. The next moment, he removes his hand from mine, causing me to turn away from the fire. I watch his arm snake around my waist as his other hand grabs my thigh.

Pulling me toward him, he slides me into his lap and I relax my back into his chest. His arms hold my waist as he brings his fingers to mess with mine again.
