Big reputation, big reputation... oOoOoh you and me we got big reputations, ahhHhH

Chapter 24: Reputation

I woke up at 5am. Dalawang oras lang ang tulog ko pagkatapos ng pag-uusap namin ni Mr. Smith.

I stood up from the bed and went to the second door. Tama naman ako at ito nga ang cr.

The cr was also big. Parang kwarto ko na sa SA ang cr na 'to. May toothbrush at mga sabon na nandito.

On the back of the door was a uniform. Meron na rin pala ditong uniform para sa pagpasok ko. Naghilamos ako at nag toothbrush bago maligo.

I took a fairly quick bath and wore the uniform. One of the perks of short hair is that I don't need to dry it. Mabilis lang siyang natutuyo at hindi pa nababasa ang uniform ko. I combed it and then I folded my dress neatly.

By the time I was out, Jerome was in my room, also wearing the uniform. Pumunta ako sa sa heels ko at ito muna ang isinuot.

"Kain na daw." Tumango ako at sumabay sa kanya. We walked down the grand staircase and headed East. Hindi kami doon kumain sa kung saan kami kumain kahapon. This is a seven seater table with a glass wall on one side. This room screams modern and minimalist.

Umupo ako sa tabi ni Jerome at agaran naman akong binigyan ng mga plato. Food is already served for us, hindi tulad din ng kahapon.

Kumuha ako ng toast at pinahiran ng butter. Mr. Smith and the conciliator were just talking while we're eating.

The scenery was very inviting. Some gardeners are trimming and cleaning the lot. I smiled and ate the toast.

"How are you, Simone?" I licked my lips and looked at him.

"Good, sir. I'm very sorry for yesterday..." I promise I won't do it again. But no, I'm not sure if I really won't.

"No worries. Though I must say, that's impressive. I'm sure you'll start training one of these days. Right?" Tumingin siya kay Mr. Smith.

"Yes, I've been arranging students to train her. It's not easy to find students who won't talk. She'll be training with Jerome today." I cast a sideways glance at Jerome who's still eating calmly. Does he already know what happened?

By 7 am, we were already inside the car. Nasa unahan si Mr. Smith at nasa likod kami ni Jerome. It was a silent ride. Only the engine was noisy. I was looking outside while Jerome was sleeping. Mr. Smith was reviewing papers, a lot of it.

It was a quarter past 8 when we arrived. Bumaba agad si Jerome kaya sumunod din ako. I went to Mr. Smith before going away, unlike Jerome.

"Thank you po, and sorry po ulit sa nangyari kahapon." I smiled and looked down.

He patted my shoulders. "It's alright, Simone. You can head to the training room after your classes. Jerome will be there to teach you, I hope." I nodded and awkwardly walked away.

Oh my gosh, he's my father. I hastily walked up to our dorm. Without looking back at him. Pagkapasok ko ay nandoon pa sila ate, already wearing uniforms too.

Lumapit sila sa akin at yinakap ako. "How are you? Did you talk?" I nodded.

"Okay lang po ba kayo? I'm really sorry for yesterday." Lalo nilang hinigpitan ang pagka yakap sa akin.

"We understand. Veronica was actually jealous that you could do that." I heard Veronica smack Ate Carlene jokingly.

I laughed. Pumasok muna ako sa kwarto para magsuot ng medyas at kunin ang name tag ko at mga gamit.
