Chapter Forty-Two

A/N: Did you know about it? Hahaha. Well, here's Simone's REAL POV starting from the time they got together :))

Chapter 42: Going Well...

"Harry saw you in his dream," panimula ni Ate Angel. Agad akong napatingin kay Harry at hinihintay siyang sabihin kung ano ang nakita niya sa panaginip niya, whether it's something in the future, or the reason why they're here. They basically raided this place knowing vampires are all in here! And judging by him looking away from me, I knew Harry didn't want to say it.

"You were dying, Simone." I blinked and curiously looked at Jerome, wanting to know more about the details. Paano ako mamamatay? Like... because of vampire bloods, I guess? Or myself?

"That's all we know. Harry didn't share the whole thing with us." He shrugged and looked up. Lalo akong nalito sa rason kung bakit sila nandito. Are they going to take me? Or just save me from the partial death story we don't know about?

"And we saw your letter..." I froze.

I grabbed the paper I wrote my farewell letter in. I'm going to put a spell on it that I saw in one of the books so it won't appear unless they know what the spell is too. At alam kong hindi 'yon alam ni Jerome. I'm just doing this in case... things go wrong.

I looked at it for the last time.

Dear everyone,

Sorry for the inconvenience I caused, you know if you'll ever find me or the damages I make. If you see this (which I hope isn't soon) it means I've already left this world (and the Philippines I think) and I'm with my vampire mother.

I just want to stop the war from happening, and if I give her what she wants, which is me, It's going to be a small sacrifice for the safety of this world. I'm kind of given by the gods the last push to save this world (you can ask Jerome more about it) and if I don't, this world's gone.

I just think that my small sacrifice will direct the attacks to the Philippines where they can't show their abilities, and I have the upper hand by knowing martial arts and maybe acting like I'm an innocent girl getting abused by my mother or something, then eventually joining her.

But the reason why I'll leave is for this world to not get damaged because of me.

I love all of you, and if there's another way to stop a war brewing, I'd be glad to do that, but my research made me believe that it's the only way to stop the end of the world. Ayokong may masaktan ng dahil sa akin, Master Watski's enough, I don't want anyone to get hurt anymore when there's this clear path I can take where no one gets injured.

Just live freely. Para naman may katuturan ang ginawa kong pagsakripisyo. Kidding aside, please don't waste your time finding or saving me anymore, I'm sure I can handle myself. Just... move on without me.

Unti-unting nawawala ang sulat, starting from the top until my name. Para na ngayon siyang isang blankong papel na hindi pa nagagamit. I placed it inside the drawer and finally decided to go on with my plan.

Lure my mother away from this world, make her come and get me, and then the world is saved. Yes, it's that easy... but I don't know what happens after my plan. Worst case, I die. So that's fine I guess...

Tiningnan ko ang bahay ni Sir Zeph at ang ilang anino sa pangalawang palapag. Agad akong umalis sa masikip na likod ng puno at lumapit sa kotse.

Nakita kong nakabukas ito kaya hindi na ako nahirapan pa. I opened it and looked around. Mahirap na, baka pagkatapos akong masabihan ng sindikato at kabit, baka maging carnapper pa ako.
