Bokuto had been acting weird the last few days.

He was usually loud and aggressive with his affection, but he wasn't acting that way now. Sure, there were times where he would crash, but that was mostly low dopamine levels. However, this was different.

When he came home, he went straight to his room and fell asleep. Akaashi suggested he was struggling at school, or the volleyball practice was finally catching up to him, but Kuroo wasn't so sure.

He wouldn't come out until dinner, and when he spoke he was quiet. It was strange.

Kuroo heard Akaashi's bedroom door open, and someone walking down the stairs. Bokuto.

The owlish boy was yawning as he made his way to the kitchen, opening the fridge. He stared inside for a moment, before closing the door. He rifled through the cabinets, but took nothing. After a bit, he opened the fridge again. He let out a sigh, closing the door and turning around.

"Bo, are you hungry?" Kuroo asked, startling his boyfriend. Bokuto glanced at Kuroo, smiling.

"'M fine," he replied. Kuroo rested his elbow on the top of the couch, beckoning Bokuto with two fingers.

"Com'ere," he said. Bokuto slowly made his way to the sofa. Kuroo took his hands, pulling Bokuto down to sit next to him. He intertwined his fingers with Bokuto's, looking into his boyfriend's flaxen eyes.

"What's up?" Kuroo asked. Bokuto shrugged. Kuroo clicked his tongue. "Bo," he called out. Bokuto glanced down. "Is something wrong?"

Bokuto shook his head furiously. Kuroo frowned, cupping Bokuto's jaw.

"Don't lie to me," he ordered softly. Bokuto chewed his lip. He leaned his head against Kuroo's shoulder, staring at their hands. Kuroo nestled his nose in Bokuto's loose hair.

He would never say it, but he preferred Bokuto's hair when he didn't gel it.

"Bo, what's wrong?" Kuroo asked. Bokuto was quiet. "You can tell me, you know that, right?" Kuroo looked down at Bokuto.

"Really?" He asked. Kuroo smiled.

"Of course." Kuroo squeezed his hand. Bokuto sucked on his bottom lip.

"I'm just... I'm just stressed," Bokuto explained.

"Why?" Kuroo questioned. Bokuto shrugged.

"I'm worried about 'Kaashi, and Kenma," he replied softly.

"What for?" Kuroo caressed the back of Bokuto's hand with his thumb.

"'Kaashi keeps having nightmares, and Kenma doesn't like it when I touch him. Is it me? Am I making them uncomfortable? Why am I so bad at this?" His voice cracked at the end.

Kuroo stared.

"Oh, Bo, no, no, no, no, no, you aren't doing anything wrong," Kuroo promised.

"You're wrong! I don't know how to do anything! I'm stupid, and tactless, and I can't even help my boyfriends!" Bokuto declared, his eyes wet. "I can't help Akaashi, because no matter what I do it's always going to be my fault! He won't admit it but it's true! And Kenma-Kenma doesn't trust me! He won't ever trust me because I'm an idiot and I don't understand anything!" Bokuto yanked his hand away from Kuroo, burying his face in his palms. "I'm going to mess this up too."

Kuroo grabbed Bokuto's collar, pulling him closer. Bokuto gasped softly, looking up at Kuroo's hazel orbs.

"Don't say that," Kuroo commanded. "You are perfect, Kōtarō. Alright? Absolutely perfect," Kuroo declared. Bokuto's eyes widened.
