Akaashi stayed in his own room for the rest of that night. No matter how much Kuroo tried to encourage him, he refused to leave through silence.

Kenma had gone into a slight fit of rage and locked himself in his room as well, and Kuroo could hear faint noises suggesting he was playing a video game.

Kuroo was annoyed himself.

Why was it so hard for them to talk?

On top of that, Bokuto had still not returned and Kuroo was growing worried.

Bouncing his leg impatiently, he stared at clock watching each hand moving an at agonizingly slow pace.

What the fuck is happening?

Kuroo rubbed his chest as he felt it tighten.

He ran his fingers through his hair and hit his lip, his teeth digging into the skin harshly.

Kuroo's eyes widened.

Him

Of all people

Was having a panic attack.

Kuroo gasp and hiccuped, his body trembling as he tried to breathe. He shuddered, clawing at his neck as if the action would help.

His eyes watered and tears squeezed past his lids.

"Shit," he whispered, groaning.

Relax. Relax.

Everything is fine.

Kuroo took several ragged breaths.

"K—Kenma!" He shouted, shaken by the experience.

He received no reply.

Sighing, he buried his face in his hands, drying his damp cheeks.

"Bo, you dumbass," he muttered.

"Just come back."

Kuroo stared at the door, his heart sinking.

Bokuto wasn't coming back anytime soon.

Kuroo stood up and walked to his own room, climbing into the freezing bed and pulling the heavy covers over him.

He couldn't sleep.

He drifted in and out of a half conscious state, constantly waking when he remembered Bokuto had left.

Kuroo couldn't stand it.

In a house of three people he never felt more alone.

The sun warmed the crisp morning, and signaled to Kuroo it was time to rise.

Yawning, Kuroo rubbed his reddish eyes and felt then sting harshly.

He stood up and walked to the bathroom, freezing when he noticed the massive eye bags he had gained.

"Oh, shit," he mumbled, leaving his room and heading down the stairs.

No one was down.

"This is ridiculous," Kuroo declared, storming up the stairs.

He slammed open Kenma's door, hearing a hiss from his boyfriend.

"Get up," Kuroo ordered.

"Fuck off," Kenma murmured tiredly.

Kuroo's brow twitched.

"What are you gonna do when I actually fuck off?" Kuroo asked with venom.

Kenma sat up slowly, the question piquing his interest.

"Kuro?" Kenma asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Why don't I just leave? You guys don't wanna talk anyway. How about I just go like Bokuto?"

Kenma stared.

"Kuro-"

Kuroo laughed humorlessly.

"Forget it."

Kenma stood up, wobbling over too Kuroo and tugging his sleeve.

"Come," he commanded in a soft voice.

"What?" Kuroo questioned. Kenma pulled Kuroo inside.

The two sat on the bed in silence.

"I miss Bo," Kuroo muttered. Kenma brushed a few onyx locks out of Kuroo's face.

"Why did he do it? He has to be lying," Kuroo asked.

"He loves us. How could he—how could he just leave?" Kuroo groaned.

Kuroo gazed at the floor.

"What if he doesn't love us anymore?" Kuroo whispered.

"Shut up," Kenma ordered.

Kuroo glanced at Kenma.

"He feels guilty."

"What?" Kuroo furrowed his brow.

Kenma sighed, moistening his lips.

"He took those pills because he felt fucked up," Kenma started.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Kuroo inquired.

"We walked in on him like that since he took the pills," Kenma continued. "We fought because I was scared. We ended up in my room after finally making up." Kenma fidgeted with his hands.

"Bo thinks it's all his fault—but it's mine." Kenma's voice broke.

Kuroo stared.

"Oh, Kitten, no." He pulled Kenma's head into his chest, hugging him gently.

"You even said—it was my fault," Kenma whispered. Kuro swallowed, feeling guilty.

"Baby, I didn't mean it. I was stressed and I shouldn't have taken it out on you. I'm so, so, sorry," Kuroo apologized.

Kenma nuzzled his pec.

"Akaashi is definitely depressed right now," Kenma proclaimed.

Kuroo nodded.

"Should we go cuddle him?"

Kenma glanced up at Kuroo.

"Tch."

He tightened his grip before murmuring,

"Yeah."
