"So what's the plan for tonight, Miss We're-Going-On-An-Adventure?" Jack smirked as buckled his seatbelt.
I tittered, "You'll find out soon enough." I teased him, driving off, "But I do have some good news."
"What?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows slight
"I'll have a lot more free time now." I smiled, getting even more excited.
"Really?" His thick eyebrows rose, "How?"
"I had a talk with my mom and long story short, she's giving me more freedom which means I don't have to work for so many hours." I explained, occasionally tapping my hand on the steering wheel as I spoke.
"So wait," He looked slightly confused, "your mom was the cause of you not having free time?"
I sighed, "It's another long story."
"Well I think we have time." He smirked, leaning back completely in his seat.
"Well maybe I don't wanna talk about it." I mocked his tone.
Jack chuckled and nodded, "Alright alright," he replied defeated, "So..." He trailed off.
"Yes?" I asked, keeping my eyes on the rode.
"Where are we going?" He groaned, bouncing his leg in anticipation.
"Patients is the key young grasshopper." I teased, turning the car to the right.
"Okay master." He clasped his hands together and bowed.
I chuckled, shaking my head as I parked the car in an isolate parking lot and turned off the car.
"This is it?" He asked, looking over at me confused.
I smirked and quickly unbuckled my seatbelt and hopped out the car. I started running towards my destination, giggling.
"Brielle wait! What are you doing?!" He laughed as he trailed behind me, trying to keep up with me.
"Hurry up slow poke!" I taunted, "You're so slow." I joked.
I finally got to a stop and smiled, my chest rising and falling rapidly and my breathing rigid. I placed my hands on my hips, trying to gain my breath. I looked up at the dark blue sky, the sun had set about thirty minutes ago. Stars began to twinkle in the dark canvas, the moon becoming more prominent by the minutes.
"Brielle, what was t-woah." He exhaled as he looked over at the same view I saw.
"Beautiful right?" I smiled, my breathing becoming steadier.
"How'd you find this place?" He asked, glancing over at me momentarily.
I shrugged, dropping my hands from my hips, "I like to adventure."
Jack smiled over at me before looking back at the beautiful slightly still ocean water. It was so huge, open and beautiful — slightly terrifying
— but beautiful nonetheless.
I smirked at Jack before taking off my shoes and grabbing the hem of my shirt, pulling it over my head.
"What are you doing?" Jack asked confused, his eyebrow raised.
I laughed as I unbuttoned my jeans, sliding them down my legs and kicking them to the side, "Jumping." I answered nonchalantly.
"What! You're crazy!" He exclaimed, clearly surprised.
I pulled my hair up into a messy bun before taking a few steps back from the edge of the cliff. I shook my hands and body rid of nerves, tilting my head from side to side.
