This is so hard..." I sighed, picking the small ball up between to two fingers.

I returned to my spot at the pingpong table, looking at the wall I put up with the help of my brother.

I had been trying to teach myself how to play pingpong with my non-domiant hand. I thought it would be an interesting challenge, and a cool skill to be able to switch right to left.

I quietly served again, and hit it lightly, it bouncing off the wall and hurling back at my left aide. Shucks. I tried to swing, but the ball spun right pass me.

"You trying to play table tennis left-handed?" Someone asked to the right of me.

I spun around, looking at where the voice had come from. "Y-Yeah, I'm right-handed."

The stranger took a step forward, and turned on the light. "It would help if you weren't in the dark."

He was a tall, muscular figure. He also had tall dark green spiked hair, with a ponytail I could see. Dark and sharp blue eyes met my gaze, and my eyes traced the star marks scarred below his eyes. He actually had lion fangs, and was dressed in a sleeveless black jacket with a green shirt under it. It was ripped at the bottom, making it shorter then intended to be. He had brown pants, his usual brown gloves and boots, with light grey pants. A fang hung around his neck. In other words, it was Kyoya Tategami.

"O-Oh...hi." I stuttered.

He was dressed in his Metal Fury outfit, which, in my opinion, made him a look more rugged then his Metal Fusion and Master look.

"I can help you on that, if you want." He tilted his head at the paddle in my hand. I look down at it, surprised. Seeing him had made my mind go...somewhere in the Bye-Bye Dark Hole.

"U-Um...you tried to learn left-handed?" I stuttered. Kyoya crossed over to me, and picked up a paddle from the basket.

"No, I'm a natural left-hander. I was bullied at school because I was the only left-hander they've ever seen. So I opted to learn right-handed. So I did."

Wow. That's news. Kyoya Tategami, bullied?!

"The name's Kyoya, by the way. Kyoya Tategami. Rude of me not to introduce myself."

Someone yelled up the stairs, "You're always rude, Yo-Yo!"

"Don't call me that!" Kyoya spat, then returned to the wall. "Stance?" He studied me intently

I ready myself, gripping the paddle tightly. "Hey, hey. Relax." There was a shifting sound. "The way you're holding the paddle is wrong."

I jumped. His voice had come close to my ear, and I stare at Kyoya behind me. "Did I startle you?" I nodded.

He reached out, and quietly adjusted my grip. Leone, his fingers are extremely warm. "Now try swinging again."

I did, and was surprised it wasn't as hard. Kyoya had adjusted it so it wasn't straining my wrist or arm when I swung. "Better?"

"Yeah, thanks." I swing again, but this time, Kyoya surprised me by tossing the ball onto the table. His aim was surprisingly good, and my paddle hit it perfectly.

"Rally." He ordered, and I nervously start rallying. It took a few tries, but I managed to get 10, which Kyoya was satisfied with-for now.

"You seem to have the back-hand down. But..." He nodded at where my paddle was frozen on my left side.

Kyoya quietly went over to me, and placed his arms over mine. I could feel his body heat near my back, which I was very aware of. What was even more surprising is that his cheek was pressed against mine. That's when my heart kinda when...fangirling.

I was so sure he could feel my heart beating, and the trembling on my body. "Like...this." He moved his arms, which also moved mine.

"O-Oh...tha-thanks." I stammered, and I felt Kyoya give a fang-smile against my cheek. "Let's see you do it by yourself."

He moved away, and I hoped my face didn't show disappointment. He threw a ball on the table, and I swung.

The ball bounced off the wall, and came back on my fore-hand side. The last minute flashed through my mind as I hit it. Yes! I cried silently in my head.

The ball came back on my other side, and I remembered what Kyoya said about my back-hand.

I managed to rally a long time, and I could see Kyoya nodding in approve.

I was sad when he left. I was hitting quite well, at least, in my point of view. Something metal clattered against the table as the green-haired left. I looked at it in surprise.

It was a iron lion. I smile in amusement, and finger the iron mood-reading eagle around my neck that I got for my birthday. So he was...jealous of Tsubasa's influence over me...? Kyoya wasn't usually jealous...strange.

A small yellow note was tucked in between its claws. I was surprised someone could fold it so small. Carefully picking it out, I unraveled it.

Meet here tomorrow at 5:30. I don't expect you to be late. But, I have to say I'm impressed by your improvement during this measely half an hour.

Kyoya

I look at the note, fiddling with trying to get the lion on the chain. Kyoya had his own ways. I'm not gonna question them, as long as I can still fangirl.

This is not real. One of those things that makes me feel better. So...anyways. But YES, i do have a mood-reading eagle necklace, and I AM trying to teach myself left hand in pingpong.( We have a ping-pong table in our playroom.) While I was praticing yesterday, my mind went bye-bye and traveled to this.
