A ping-pong match was unfolding over in the corner of the huge living room, with a brown-haired 15 year-old with orange extensions and green eyes was playing a golden brown haired boy with faded blue-grey eyes, like Tess. The Egyptain was Nile, while the boy was Tylen, Tess' brother.
A lavender haired teen was sitting in the couch, in the waiting line. His dark blue, almost purple, eyes glinted as he surveyed his opponents. One was a burly man with bushy dark brown hairs named Aguma, with his red-haired battling partner, Bao.
Keeping score, which was 2 games to 1, Tylen in the lead, was a black haired girl with a ponytail. She had dark brown eyes, and was Tess' best friend, Sarah.
And there were many more, most of them sleeping. At least, till someone ruined it...
"SARAH! GIMME THAT RUBIX CUBE BACK!" Tylen ordered, chucking the ping-pong paddle. Sarah ducked, and it impaled an inch above her head. You see, Tylen was very skilled with a paddle.
"NOPE!" She yelled, twisting the Rubix cube, which had been completed eariler when Tylen was waiting for his ping-pong match, and completely messing it up.
He growled, and Nile backed up, glancing at the others on the couch. "Crud," Aguma cursed, then ran upstairs, followed by Bao, but not before yet another paddle was chucked.
"Dear god, Tess," Sarah muttered, fixing her glasses,"Your brother has anger issues." Thunk. She ran into the room that connected the kitchen and living room, where Kyoya, Tsubasa, Una, Tithi, Yu, Tess, Toby, King, Zeo, and Masamune were.
"Tess..." She panted, grabbing her friend's chair so she didn't skid past. Una looked from where she had been reading a Christmas book with Yu.
"What did you do?" Tess muttered, placing down her Lucario X card and her Riolu card. Sarah sweatdropped. "It's pretty easy to tell that you did something,"Tess said, looking at her, "Because Tylen's trying to kill you."
Tylen burst into the room, and Sarah yelped, running past Kyoya. The Leoner user hissed, launching forward, then throwing his weight back to dodge a flying ping-pong paddle that was about to hit his face.
"Tell him to s-stop chucking those.".Sarah whispered, hiding behind King, who had a confused expression on his face.
"Tylen...! Stop chucking those, will ya? I'ma have to buy those again." Tess complained, then handed him a deck of Pokemon cards. "Use these. Don't lose them." She returned to the table.
The next half an hour was chaos. Withhim throwing the cards like ninja stars, Kyoya yelling, Yu and Tithi screaming, "YAYAY IT'S TAG!" And chasing everyone around, whacking them with a paddle, Sarah running around, the house was getting wrecked.
Until...
Tylen had gone upstairs after his phone had finally fully charged.
"Geez," Sarah panted, "All that trouble, and we could've just given him his phone." She gripped the edge of Tess' chair weakly.
"Or given him a computer." Tess muttered, "And now Sarah, we're gonna go through that again."
"Why?"
"YOU MESSED UP ALL MY POKEMON CARDS, AND ALL MY YU-GI-OH CARDS!" Tess yelled, waving at the scatter of Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon cards across the table. "AND THEY WERE IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER!"
"Oops...?" Sarah sweatdropped.
~3 hours later after Tess proceeded to kill Sarah with flying pokemon cards~
Yu swung his legs around, glancing around the now silent room. Sarah had collapsed on the floor from running from the two wild siblings. Team Dungeon got bored of watching TV, so they decided to stuff themselves with chocolate brownies and cake,
One, no, two, sights made him smile more then he was. Tsubasa had fallen asleep after the ruckus, but Una was now leaning against his shoulder, gaze unfocused and distant as she quietly hummed to herself. Her eyes soon fluttered closed as she snuggled next to him.
Across the room, Tess was curled up with Kyoya. The girl's breathing was even and relaxed, but Yu had never seen Kyoya so...affectoate for someone. His arm was draped around her, pulling Tess closer to him.
~And that is one of the few days that people were relaxed. Besides those four hours that Tylen and Tess tried to kill Sarah during.~
