Since it's been a while since I've written Cale (Casper Dalles X Aileen Parkison) (did I spell that right? Dunno), and I wrote Man last, here we go! *Mario jump*
"Nice to see you again, Aile," Casper said at last, his legs swinging side to side.
Alieen Parkison looked over at him, then back over at the sight they had. They were sitting on the rooftop of the house that belonged to Casper's parents, who they had visited out of the blue, since Aileen was now off school and Casper was as well.
"This place looks cool under the stairs. It sucks back at my house, the sky's all cloudy," Aileen responded. "Oh, it was nice to see you too."
"We head back to our own houses tomorrow..."
With a sigh, Casper leaned back, folding his hands behind his head to fully look at the night sky. "Isn't it beautiful."
She nodded in response, guessed that he probably wouldn't be able to see her, then replied verbally. "Yeah."
"You know what else is beautiful?"
Following his comment, she attempted to sock him in the shoulder, pretty much failing because he was laying down. "Was that an attempt to flirt with me?"
"Ow-! Chill, I was talking about the lake, good grief!"
Sitting back up and gingerly rubbing at his shoulder, Casper frowned at the girl. "What was that for?"
Huffing, Aileen looked down at her hands. "I thought you were flirting with me!"
"I wasn't..."
"I know that now, you idiot."
Returning his attention to the night sky, Casper's voice was clear as ever.
"Do you ever just want to kiss somebody so bad but you're too afraid to do it?"
Aileen stopped from where she was tracing over the writing she had scribbled on her hand earlier in a moment of inspiration. "Just go for it. You only have so many chances. I haven't even had my first kiss yet, so I wouldn't know, bu-"
Casper's movement was quick and sudden as he grabbed her by the shoulder and pulled her in, kissing her for no more then a few seconds.
When he finally released her, leaning back, Aileen's expression was a mixture of 'what the hell do you think you're doing?' and disbelief.
"Oh my god- I'm so sorry- I can't believe I actually did that... um... I just..."
He rubbed the back of his head, then raised his eyes to look, his face lifting with that innocent smile of his. "I've wanted to do that for a long time."
tbh you won't see this for like another four weeks but VolarFinch
