Zeo Abyss shivered, zipping up his jacket some more as the wind bit at his exposed skin.
It was a snow day, with snow covering the ground everwhere. It was really pretty, actually, a world of frosty grass. Icicles dripped from snow-caked pine trees, hanging from the edge of the needles.
"Zeo!Are you coming inside?"Toby called, pulling down his hood and shaking the snow from his silver hair. They had a snowball fight eariler, and Zeo had fired one that knocked Toby's hood down and sent the snow clinging to his hair.
The Fox user looked over his shoulder, then called, "Nah, I'll come in later. But,"His aqua eyes glittered, "Tell Masamune that I'm coming for him."
Toby laughed, opening the door and slipping in. "Alright. But don't take too long, or Coach Steel will have you doing shadow-launches for the next five years!"
"Yea, yea, I know."Zeo said, then his gaze returned to the white hills. He liked being out here, somehow snow helped him gather his thoughts more then on a spring or summer day.
Then his eyes drifted to the ice hanging from the green-trees. The icicles seemed so...perfect, so...
"Zeo?"A female voice called, and he turned, the icicle he broke off in his open palm.
"Hey, Zcharya."Zeo looked at her as the black-haired girl jogged up to him.
"Toby told me you were still out here. Is something wrong? It's freezing out here!"
Zeo smiled at her. "Nothing's wrong. I was just thinking that nothing could be more beautiful then these icicles on this frozen day till you came into my view."
Zcharya turned red as she realized the meaning of his words. "Oh, stop it, Zeo, you know I crack easily when people flatter me."
Zeo met her ice-blue gaze for a moment, then whispered, "That's the point. I was wondering if you wanna stay over at my house for awhile...?"
"But,"She protested, poking him in the chest, "I heard was Toby said about you doing shadow launches for the next five years. Forget five years, you'll be doing them for fifteen if we do that!"
Zeo grinned at Zcharya. "Well, it doesn't really matter to me if I'm spending a few minutes with you?"
Zcharya tilted her head. "Why not...? Oh, yeah, Zeo...?"
"Yes?"
"Next time you ask a girl on a date, try to do it more smoothly."
Zeo laughed, "Alright, I'll try that."He ruffled her hair before the two started for his house, completely forgetting about the training that was supposed to be done.
