Kyoya poked his head outside, looking at the darkening sky. Where is Tess, geez...?

Sarah had said she saw her friend wandering out in the woods. Maybe she's there.

"Hey! Nile, if anyone's looking for me, I'm out in the woods, okay?"

"Got it covered, Kyoya."The Horuseus blader mumbled.

Tess dangled her bare feet in the water, feeling relaxed for the first time in a long time. She wriggled her toes in the current.

"Tess?"Someone asked behind her, and she tensed, whipping around.

"Oh, it's just you, Kyoya." She patted the grass next to her, but she's unsure if he'd accept it.

Much to Tess' surprise, the green-haired boy sat next to her. "Nice place you've got here."

Tess glanced at the small river before her. "I guess, its nice."

"Hey, Tess, like getting wet?"

"Wha-MMMPH! KYOYA!"She shrieked as she hit in the water. But the sound to her ears wasn't what she would have thought.

He was laughing. Not in a mean way like usual, not chuckling, laughing. "I love that expression on your face."Kyoya managed, finally fighting down the laugh and fang-smiling at her.

At his expression, Tess' heart fluttered as she crawled up next to him and poked his shoulder. "The lion doesn't like to get wet, though."

A mask of confusion crossed his face, and he mumbled a protest as Tess pushed him into the ground, her hair tickling his face.

"What do you say, Tategami...?"She whispered, laughing softly in his ear.

Kyoya grunted, rolling. Since they were on a hill, they both tumbled into water, but Tess was still ontop of Kyoya.

She giggled, "Your hair looks funny when its wet."

Smiling, he reached up and captured one of her drenched strands, twirling it around his finger. "Yours doesn't have that golden look anymore, it looks dark brown."

"Of course it is, Lion."She mumbled, flicking the hair in her face back.

Kyoya's hand slipped around her neck as he brought her close, lips barely brushing against hers. "You don't mind us staying here awhile, do you...?"

Tess grew quiet as he sat upright, snuggling against his chest.

"I'll take that as a yes."

She mumbled, "You should."
