Bleed the Color of my Heart

"I would gladly be the villain if what you really want to be is a hero."

I peel off my gloves, flexing my fingers as I hear the joints pop.

"See, but here's the thing, Tsuki, you have to have a super-threatening name. Tsuki isn't threatening."

Crossing my legs, I rest my elbow upon my throne. Admiring the tips of my boots, there's only a moment of silence before I lift my eyes out of curiosity.

This world is mine.

Only mine.

A world where there's only peace and harmony. Where I provide a safe haven where there is no murdering. No killing. A perfect world. Yet, people are still fighting in resistance.

Why resist? I'm providing this world, yet there still are people trying to break my rule and make this world one of fighting again.

"My name is Tsukishima," I replied, arching an eyebrow. "You're the person at reason for that nickname."

"You're always gonna be Tsuki to me. Nothing else."

Pushing myself off the throne, I only take several steps forward until heels click against the floor.

"... Daniel," I begin, clasping my hands behind my back. "Is there something you need of me?"

"I wouldn't be here otherwise," the voice of my messenger floats through the room, echoing with a metallic tone.

Inhaling deeply, I turn to raise an eyebrow. Daniel stands straight behind me, and it takes me a moment to notice how disheveled his hair is. His eyeliner is smeared, lipstick dragged down so that it looks like he has blood all over his lips.

"Yes? Go along, then."

Daniel bites his lip for a moment, blood blossoming at the corner of his lip.

"It's- it's Zeo," he stammers, the first mess-up in his words for ages. "He stands ontop of Half's Peak."

"Of course the idiot would go to Half's Peak," I sigh, pinching my nose. "He knows that my first kiss was a complete mess-up there."

Daniel's eyes glance to the side, glassy with confusion.

"Your orders?"

"Stand back," I order. "Surround Half's Peak with warriors, but just enough to cause a raid. Stay low. Oh, and Daniel...?"

He stiffens. "Yes?"

"Make sure our troops wear green."
