I cope with angst by writing angst (Danganronpa/Inkheart YOU'RE THE REASON (to die) WHY IM LIKE THIS)

Also the brainwashing thing was taken from Captain America, and the words 'I will betray you before you betray me' (or something along those lines) came from Danganronpa.

Brain-washing.

Brain-washing. Did it count as brain-washing if they selected certain words, then repeated it as he was tortured?

In response, his mind gained a tendency to follow all orders that were said after those words.

Kill your wife.

His hands were stained with blood, fingers trembling, shaking, two broken from her fighting back.

He had tears running down his face, hair looking like a rat's nest from his hands repeatedly running through it.

Yet, an order was an order. An order was the thing that overrid every nerve that was in his body, screamed against him when he fought against his own mind that demanded that he kill his wife.

Broken, bloodied lips trembling, Ashita Rixen looked up at her husband's face, one tear falling from his face to land on her cheek and slid down.

"Why... Are you c-crying...?"

This is my fault.

When Jaxson Rixen didn't answer, Ashita raised a hand to brush her shaking fingers against his cheek.

"It's not your fault," she whispered.

"Y-Yes, it is, Ashita," Jaxson's voice was just as soft as he brought their lips together once last time, her one hand still lingering on his cheek.
