A/N: so, this is the ending. i know that it's so random but i don't feel motivated to write this story anymore and i want it to be done and not leave you guys hanging so, here we are. This is set 5 years after chapter 67.

"Yes!" Newt shouts, running out of the massive building him and Thomas had gone to college for on their last day. "Finally! We're free!"

Thomas laughs. "We weren't trapped, you know?"

"Whatever." Newt says. "Now no more school for the rest of my life!"  He jumps into Thomas's arms, who catches him, laughing. "I love you, Tommy." He says, grinning. "I love you so much."

"I love you too." Thomas says, kissing him softly.

"Oh, keep your hands off of him for five minutes."

Minho walks over to them, rolling his eyes.

"You know I can't do that." Thomas says. "Or at least you should."

"Whatever." Minho says.

"Minho, be nice." Aris says, running over and taking his hand.

Minho sighs but doesn't say anything else. He only ever listens to Aris.

"Hypocrite." Newt says, removing himself from Thomas.

"Well, it's fine for me." Minho says. "Obviously."

"Right. Obviously." Thomas says sarcastically.

Then Teresa and Brenda join them. They've been practically joint at the hip since eleventh grade. They stand next to them, Brenda resting her head in the crook of Teresa's neck.

"I can't believe it." She says. "I can't believe we graduated."

"I know." Newt says.

"I think we should go out to celebrate." Brenda says.

"What would we do?" Minho asks.

"Oh!" Newt says. "Let's get ice cream!"

Brenda laughs. "Okay. We can get ice cream."

Soon the six of them sit at a small table in a little ice cream shop down the street. Newt sits in Thomas's lap and Brenda in Teresa's even though there were plenty of chairs.

"What are we going to do now?" Newt asks, leaning back against Thomas. Thomas wraps his arms around his waist.

"Sleep." Minho says.

"That's not what I meant." Newt says.

"I know." Minho says. "I prefer not to think about it."

Newt hums in response. "I guess that's fair." He yawns. "Tommy, take me home now."

Thomas chuckles. "Alright." Newt gets up and so does Thomas. "See you guys later."

They wave and smile and Thomas feels an ache in his heart even though he knows he'll see them tomorrow.

Newt and Thomas walk home. It's only ten minutes from the ice cream place. Thomas wonders why they don't go there more. They sit on the couch together, watching some Hallmark movie even though it's June, Newt's head resting in Thomas's lap.

"Hey, Tommy?" Newt says about halfway through it.

"What is it?" Thomas asks, looking at him.

"Can we get married?" Newt asks.

"Like now?" Thomas asks.

"Not now." Newt says. "We're watching a movie. But I mean soon. Like, this fall or something."

Thomas smiles. "Yeah. Yeah, we can get married."

"Oh, yay!" Newt says. He sits up and wraps his arms around his neck. "I love you so much, Tommy."

"I love you more." Thomas says. He kisses him. "Now, this movie sucks. Turn it off and let's do something actually enjoyable."

Newt reaches over and turns off the TV. "Thanks for marrying me, Tommy."

"Why wouldn't I want to marry you?" Thomas says, kissing his nose.

Newt laughs. "I don't know. But thanks anyway."

"Yeah, well, thanks for marrying me too."
