What Annabeth had said was still going through my ears. "What... what do you mean, I'm in danger?" I asked scared. "Whose after me?"

"The gods." She said grabbing my hand sympathetically. "You weren't supposed to be born because deimgods of the Big Three are to powerful, and for other reasons I can't disclose, but shouldn't really retain to you. But, Jamie, being a daughter of the Big Three is not something I would wish upon my worst enemy. You've already had to deal with Hades."

"What do you mean, I never meant Hades." I said.

"Those things that attacked you. Those bat looking ladies, those were Furies, Hades minions. I have never actually seen them before, and all three of them after the same person, it's not good." Annabeth said. "But that still can't eliminate him as your father, because he might want you dead just so that he doesn't have to deal with the consequences. Do you have any idea who your father might be?"

I bit my lip debating on whether or not I should tell her about my father's visit. My father seemed admit about me not telling anyone who he was. He said that I there would be crappy reactions to my parentage. Whoever it was I could risk telling Annabeth. "None." I said.

Annabeth huffed. "Well I don't think you're Poseidon's daughter, if you were I probably wouldn't be sitting here talking to you like a friend." She said.

"Friend?" I asked hoping that what she said was sincere.

"Yeah, I mean, unless you don't want to. I know you seem kinda stand offish, but I feel like we get along." Annabeth said. "Don't you think?"

I smiled. She was right, Annabeth seemed to be one of the few people I could actually talk to without getting annoyed. "Yeah," I said. Just then there was another knock at my door. "Come in." The door creaked open and two faces peeked in. "Tamar! Maple!"

The two smiling faces came into the room. Maple ran to my side and gave me a quick little kiss on the forehead. Tamar stood behind her smiling down at me. "I'm so happy to see you two are okay." I said. "What happened once I fell out of the vehicle?"

"I was screaming for Argus to turn around, so that we could help you, but he kept driving," Tamar started. "You must have really scared him, I mean he listened to. Anyway we got to camp safely, and we ran to the amphitheater, and yelled for help. Only three people had their weapons on them, so them and Argus went to help you. We were so scared."

Maple was sitting on my bed side looking me over. "Do they hurt?" She asked pointing to my scratch wounds.

They did hurt, the nectar was wearing off, and I was beginning to feel the sting of the ointment, but I couldn't have poor little Maple be worrying over me. So I shook my head. "No, medicine they gave me helped

"When can you leave this place?" Tamar asked.

"Till Doctor Will says I can go, but since he hates me so much, he'll probably make me stay here forever." I whined.

"Will?" Annabeth butted in. I looked to her. "People usually like him, what did he say?"

"That he doesn't like me, and that I'm just another patient." I said. "I didn't even say anything mean. He didn't even give me a chance." Annabeth seemed perplexed by this.

"Well, I'll leave you three." She said standing up.

"Annabeth," I said before she could leave. She turned and looked at me. Thank you." She gave me a wink and then left.

I spent the rest of the day talking with Tamar and Maple. When she talked about the camp her eyes lit up with excitement, and glee, which only made me want to see that camp even more. Tamar told me that she got interviewed by Chiron about what happened. That kind freaked me out. And when they finally left it was close to 10.
