Third Person Point of View

The camp was quiet, and Will and Connor were watching as Jamie walked off to the beach. "She doesn't seem to be taking it well." Connor said.

"Who would, she just found out an evil demigod is trying to poach her." Will said,

"So do you have any idea of who it could be?"

"I don't trust Mark."

"Mark from the Ares cabin?"

"Would you rule him out?"

"No, but I don't think Jamie would trust him enough to let him near her, especially at this moment." He said.

"We should go talk to her." Will said. He nodded and as they started down to the beach, they heard something.

"Help!"

"That was Luke." Connor said.

"I think it came from the beach."

" Someone help!" Luke yelled again.

Will and Connor took off, and when they reached the beach, they saw Luke sitting in the sand with Jamie laying in his lap as he cradled her limp body.

Will and Connor sprinted over to where they were and Will instantly fell down beside them, and pulled Jamie closer to him. "What happened?" Connor asked as Will moved Jamie's shirt away from her shoulder where the bite wound was.

"I came onto the beach to see Jamie was frozen in fear as this giant snake came and attacked her, and then it slithered off into the ocean." Luke said with concern in his eyes.

"How did it get into camp?" Connor asked.

"Someone must have summoned it." Luke said.

Soon the beach started to fill up with campers and they froze in horror as they watched as Will inspected Jamie. Nothing like this had happened in the camp in their life times, and the thought that one of their own could be attacked in camp frightened them to the core.

Chiron came galloping to the beach and he stopped cold when he saw the scene. Finally after a few moments, he stepped forward lightly. "Is she...?"

"No," Will said digging his fingers into the bite wound and pulled out a huge fang. "But I'm going to have to see what kind of venom this is, so I can make an antidote."

"What did the snake look like?" Chiron asked.

"It was large, and red, and as soon as it bit her she started to go out cold." Luke said.

"How red?"

"Like the color of a tomato."

"Bring Jamie back up to the Big House, I think I might know what attacked her." Chiron bent down, and Will picked up Jamie, and placed her on Chiron's back, and he got on as well, so that he could hold her.

Chiron galloped off towards the Big House, and everyone watched in horror. "Why would someone summon that?" A person in the crowd asked.

"Who summoned it?"

"Will it happen again?"

"Is Jamie gonna die?"

Connor stood there debating on whether or not to tell them about the demigod, but Jamie wanted to keep it under wraps, so that was what he was going to do. Wanting to make sure Jamie wasn't going to die, he started sprinting up towards the Big House.

As soon as he got there, he saw Chiron fitting through the door. Connor ran into the house, and up the stairs to where Jamie was being held. Stepping in, he saw Jamie on the bed laying unconscious, and Will stood by her bedside dabbing her bite wound.
