A week passed with me boiling with anger every time I saw Will. So I tried to stay away from the places I knew he would be, like the archery range, the arts and crafts cabin, and the infimary. However, to my dismay, everywhere I looked he seemed to be right around the corner. And every time we saw each other a yelling match would break out and the surrounding campers would have to break us up.
I sat with Annabeth on a bench as she tried to teach me about different greek myths, but I was only half paying attention. "...so every god has their own magical item..." She said, but I was busy watching Luke practice sword fighting with Travis. "Jamie!"
"Hmm" I said turning to look at Annabeth.
"You're not even listening. This stuff is important, just as important as weapons training." She protested.
Sorry, I guess I have a one track mind." I mumbled. "Can't we just say I learned this and we can go practice sword fighting?"
"No, what if you go on a quest and you need this information?" I huffed and resided to listening to Annabeth babble on about stuff I didn't care about.
Finally, the dinner bell sounded making me jumped up. "Thank gods." I said, but I earned a glare from Annabeth. There was no point in lying to her, so I just shrugged.
We both made our way to the dinning hall, and we said goodbye as we seperated to go off to our assigned tables. I took my regular seat next Connor, and Luke sat down next to me.
"So, you want to practice your sword skills after dinner?" Luke nudged me. "I saw you eyeballing me earlier when you were having your lessons with Annie. Did you like what you see?"
"Oh don't inflate your ego." I said getting a laugh from both Connor and Travis.
"Listen up campers!" Chiron said standing up high at the head table for everyone to see him. "I have some very important news." Everyone started whispering getting excited. "Yes, yes, now I have been discussing with the Olympians and they have decided that we should have a field trip for the older campers to see Mt. Olympus. So every camper age 13 and above will go and every cabin leader." I knew he was talking about Annabeth because she was only 12.
Everyone started whispering, the younger campers looked mad. "No fair," Said one girl at the Hermes table, "I want to go!"
"You heard Chiron, sorry Becky." Luke said. "But, the gods aren't always as they seem to be."
The look on Luke's face let me know he had some harbored feelings towards the gods, be it his father or someone else. Well, I for one am excited." Connor said. "Oh, the things to steal on Mt. Olympus." He stared dreamily into space.
Well you guys have fun, I'm not going." I stated taking a bit of my brisket.
"You have to go, you're 13." Luke stated. "If I have to go, you have to go."
"Ha, I don't think so."
"Take it up with Chiron."

"You have to go" Chiron said as he played a card game with Mr. D. "You'r presence has been requested by the Olympians."
"What?" I asked flabbergasted. "Which one?"
"The Queen." Chiron stated. "This is one of the reasons we are having this field trip."
My heart skipped a beat knowing that Hera knew. "No!" I said a little to loudly. "I'm not going."
Chiron blinked almost as if he was debating on letting me stay at camp. But Mr. D just snorted loudly. "You're falling for her miloun omilia." He said looking at me.
