"Jamie, knock it off." Malcolm hissed as I twirled my pencil in the air using the wind. "Annabeth wants you to learn this stuff, and I am going to teach you this!"
"I'm listening." I snapped catching the pencil. "This is just so boring.... isn't there a way to make it interesting?"
"No," He said plainly.
"Then I want a different teacher." I growled standing up, and walking out. It was snowing a bit, and for some reason that just made me more angry, so I stormed through the camp scowling at anyone.
"Jamie?" I spun to see Chiron trotting up to me. "Shouldn't you be in your lessons with Malcolm?"
I glared back over at the Athena cabin. "I left." I said pursing my lips. "I don't like learning, and I don't get the point. Besides Malcolm is a crappy teacher!" As I yelled snow swirled around me from the wind picking up.
Chiron, instead of taking a step back, took a step forward. "Jamie, let's have a talk up at the Big House." He motioned for me to follow him, and begrudging trudged through the snow after him, and once we stepped inside the warm house, Chiron started to pour two cups of hot chocolate. "Sit."
I did as he told me, and sat on the couch and grabbed the hot chocolate. "What did you want to talk about?" I asked already knowing the answer.
Chiron sighed and got into his magical wheelchair. "Jamie, I know you are a daughter of Zeus, and you carry much stronger emotions than others, but you bottle them up inside." He spoke making me sip the hot chocolate so that he couldn't see my quivering lips. "You have to talk about it so that you can release it."
I set down the cup and leaned back. "I'm fine." I mumbled.
"No, you're not." He reached out his hand and placed a hand on mine. "You're snapping a people, causing wind storms. This isn't only for you, but the safety of others at Camp." He paused. "Don't do this for you, but to protect the others."
I bit my lip, and nodded. "Okay." I said.
Chiron gave a small smile. "Now, tell me why are you so stressed out?" He asked.
"I don't know," I said honestly.
"Well, Will tells me you are having nightmares." Chiron said, and I opened my mouth to ask how Will got the information, but Chiron raised his hand to stop me. "What are these nightmares about?"
My eyes started to flash back to the dreams, and I grabbed my cup tight until my knuckles turned white. "Luke." I whispered just barely audible. "He's planning on attacking the camp. I won't let that happen!"
Chiron flinched at my loud voice. "Jamie," He said in a calming voice. "Why do you feel this is on you? Why must you be the only one who worries about this?"
"Because Percy and Annabeth told me it was my job to protect this camp, and I'm a daughter of Zeus, it's my job to protect the others!" I said my voice quivering.
Chiron wheeled closer to me, and grabbed my hands. "You're only 13." He said. "People put so much pressure on you just because of who you are, and you feel so alone, but you're not alone. You have friends that will help you, that love you. You're not alone, you don't have to do this alone."
I shook my head. "But I can't have them die for helping me." I said tears filling my eyes. "No, I have to do it alone."
"No, you don't, but you won't realize this yet." He said. "You're not the only one who wants to protect this camp, Jamie."

I sat in the practice arena with my whip and dagger in my hands waiting for Clarrise to show up, but after 30 minutes of waiting I sighed. "She's not showing up." I grumbled to myself. "Well, I need my practice." So with another grumble I started to walk out.
