I looked around to see that I was inside the Zeus cabin, and I started to wonder how I ended up here. The last thing I remembered was falling from a waterfall. However, when I glanced around the cabin, I notice subtle differences. There was no cool breeze flowing through, the sky light that let in warm sun was covered, and the fountain that surrounded my fathers statue wasn't flowing.

"This is depressing." I muttered.

"You won't think so when you get older." I turned to see 17 year old me standing at the top of the stairs. Just like in the visions her eyes were cold, and her face was stoic like she never smiled.

That's when I knew this was a dream, well I hoped. "What do you mean?" I asked hoping to get some answers. "The warm sunlight, the sound of water, and the breeze, how could you not like them?"

"After the years that are about to come you stop enjoying the small things, and soon they just irritate you." Older me said walking down the stairs.

"What happened to you?" I asked.

"The life of a demigod happened. You saw whats to come in Tiresias' vision, you are not suppose to have a happy life."

"I can change that." I said not entirly believing myself.

Older me just laughed. "You really think you can change your future? Just because you know what is going to happen doesn't mean you can change it."

"I can try!"

Older me stopped laughing and looked at me dead serious. "Life is just one big war, and during life you'll have battles, and you lose some, some people can push through the pain and still retain their humanity, others turn, we just stop feeling, you'll soon learn that emotions compromise your decisions because we know what the right decision is."

"You sacrficed others!" I yelled tears brimming my eyes as I remembered back to seeing Maple dead.

"At the cost of saving everyone else!" She yelled back.

"I would rather die then turn out like you." I hissed.

"All in good time." She sneered.

"Jamie! Will!"

The vision of future me faded and I was brought into darkness. But soon my other senses started to revcover, and the first thing that registered was that I was cold and sore.

The next thing to come to my mind was that something smooth, warm, and wet, was licking my face. I tried to move, but my body wasn't letting me. "Will!" It was Connor! "Are you alright?!"

"Where's Jamie!?" Will spoke.

"She isn't waking up." Connor said.

"Move!" Will must have pushed Connor out of the way, and the licking stop and it was replaced by two warm hands cupping my face. Will started to chant something, and the cold stiffness started to wear away, and my eyes fluttered open.

My eyes settled on Will's bright blue ones, and I noticed that his shaggy blonde hair was dripping. As soon as my eyes were open Will stopped chanting.

"Jamie, are you alright?" Will asked.

"What happened?" I croaked my voice sore.

"We fell." Will said. "Remember the waterfall."

My memory started to warm up, and it all started coming back. Us landing in the rushing river, and then going over the waterfall, and that was the last thing. I sat up quickly. "The Lotus Staff!" I said remembering that it was in my hand when we went over.
