"Concentrate!" Tamar yelled as I tried to lift a rock using the power of wind. It was a lot of work, and it was making my brain hurt, and after a while the rock fell to the ground and rolled down the hill straight towards the volleyball courts.

"Watch out!" I cried. The campers looked up and ran in panic at the rock barreled through. Sorry " I fell to the ground. "Ugh, I'll never get it. I just suck." I huffed looking at Tamar.

"You just have to concentrate more." Tamar said. "You have the power inside of you, you just have to be able to harness it."

"How?" I whined. "We've been practicing for a week, and the biggest thing I've been able to lift is a stupid rock, and even then I failed."

"It's because you are thinking like a mortal and not like a demigod. Mortals think their with their minds to much, to use your powers like a demigod you have to use your heart and emotions."

"How do I do that?" I snarled. "I'm not good at listening to my emotions."

"Okay, well then we have to get you to listen to your emotions." Tamar said. "Now take a seat on the ground, and shut your eyes." Huffing loudly I sat down and shut my eyes. "Good, now I want you to concentrate on your surroundings. Listen to the sounds of nature, and feel the pressure of the wind against your skin."

"I'm bored." I complained.

"Shut up and listen." Tamar scolded. "Now, feel. You have to feel the power fill you up." The wind started to pick up. "Concentrate. The wind is like an extra part of you, you just have to know how to use it."

The wind started to pick up more, and soon I felt as if a current was wrapping around me, the wind was almost like another part of me, just like Tamar had said. Suddenly the feeling of the ground that was underneath me was no longer there, and all I could feel was the air all around me. I opened my eyes to see that I was hovering above the ground about 5 feet. "Woah," I exclaimed, but as soon as I said that I fell to the ground nearly hitting my head. "Owww," I said rubbing my butt.

"That was good, but you lost focus." Tamar said. "Let's try again."

As I shut my eyes once more the sound of thunder filled the air, and not just normal thunder but pounding thunder. Opening my eyes I flinched and cowered at the sound. "What was that?" I asked standing up and moving closer to Tamar, she seemed just as scared as me.

"There was thunder, but not lightning." She said. "And it seemed almost mad."

"What? The thunder?" I asked.

"Lord Zeus" Just as she said that another round of thunder echoed through the sky making me flinch again. "Somethings wrong. Something is seriously wrong."

This time thunder echoed throughout the sky again only this one was it was the loudest sound I had ever heard, and it made the ground shake so much Tamar and I both fell over. My heart felt like it was going to burst in my chest because it was beating so hard. "Tamar, do you remember when I told you I didn't like thunder?" I asked.

"Yeah," Another set of thunder filled the sky.

"Yeah, well, this isn't making my fear any better, in fact, I can't move." I said shaking.

"Okay, come on." Tamar said grabbing my hand and dragging me off towards the closest building which happened to be the Big House. We reached it just as Mr. D peeked out the window.

"You Jessie," He said looking at me, when no one else answered I assumed it was me he was talking too. "What's with the thunder, sounds like my dad is upset. You do something?"

Tamar pulled me up the porch so I was somewhat sheltered by the sky. "I don't think so." I mumbled hoping my hovering didn't upset my father.

Mr. D shut his eyes as if he were getting some sort god message. "Oh, so it wasn't you." he said. "Oh, yes father." he focused back on me. "You Jessie, where were you a week ago?"
