Notus seemed to smiling evilly as I walked towards him twirling my blade. "You really think you can defeat me, you're only 13, and I'm a god!" He laughed menacingly.

Moving quickly, I jumped over the couch and then pretended like I was going to bring down my blade, but instead I cracked my whip making it wrap around his ankles. Concentrating on the wind, I made it help me push him over so that he was laying on his back. And then with a snap of my tongue the lead dog came over and growled as he stepped on his stomach.

"I don't need to defeat you, I just need to stall you." I smirked pointing my blade to his throat.

Looking back I saw that Connor, Will, and the rest of the dogs, had taken care of the nymphs that decided to stay and fight. "Go! I'll be right out!" I said. Both of them looked like they were going to protest, but I was serious. "Now!"

They both ran out, and the rest of the dogs came over and surrounded him growling and showing their teeth. "Maybe if you treated everyone with respect you wouldn't have so many people turn on you."

"I'm a god, I don't have to show respect." He hissed.

"Well then, enjoy you're lonely life." I said. Looking to the lead dog, I saw him look back at me. "Go, I'll watch him, get far away before he wrangles you again."

All the dogs except the lead dog, which looked like a pure white German Shepard, ran to the door and jumped into the air and turned back into clouds. "Go," I said to the lead dog, I didn't want him caught again, but he looked at me as if he was telling me he wasn't going to leave me.

"Traitor!" Notus yelled at the dog, and the dog just snapped at Notus.

"Now unless you don't want me to send you to wherever gods go when they die, I suggest you think about what everyone has left you, and let us leave without a fight. Do we have a deal?" I asked when he didn't answer I poked my dagger closer to his neck causing a small amount of golden ichor to show. "Do we have a deal?" I growled.

"Yes, we have a deal." He snarled begrudgingly.

Sheathing my dagger and untangling my whip I backed up and the dog followed and sat down by my side. Notus sat up and I could tell by his face how angry he was. "Get out of here before I change my mind." He growled.

Turning I walked towards the door, and the dog followed. Stepping out the dog looked to me, and for some odd reason I had a feeling he wanted to come with me. "You can be free, you don't have to stay." But he barked as if telling me he wanted to stay. "Then come along."

We walked to the car, and saw Connor had the front, and so I opened the back and the dog jumped in and I scooched in too. Connor froze looking at the dog terrified. "What's it doing in here?" He asked

"He wanted to come," I protested. "He won't hurt you."

"It better not get near me." Connor growled.

The dog whimpered and rested his head on my lap. "You hurt his feelings." I said petting his head. "Now, lets think of a name for you."

"How about snappy," Connor suggested.

I gave him a glare, and looked back to the dog. "Stratus, like the cloud." I smiled. The dog gave a gleeful bark and shut his eyes as if he was about to fall asleep.

Will pulled out of the villa and he started heading south once more. "So did you kill Notus?" Will asked finally, I knew he was dying to ask.

"No, I let him live, I didn't feel like killing a god just yet." I said. "Why do you think I should have?"
