Third Person Point of View
"Will, you have to come out." Lee, Will's brother, said walking into the Med Bay. "You've been at if for like a week."
"I'm not stopping till I figure out an antidote." Will said not looking up from his book that he was reading from while Connor brought over more books.
"You two haven't slept in days."
"And Jamie hasn't waken up in days." Connor defended.
"Chiron said she'll wake up on her own."
"That's not soon enough!" Will snapped. Lee sighed and walked out, but as he walked out, Luke walked in. "What do you want?" Will said angrily, tired of people walking in.
"How are you doing?" Luke asked taking a seat. "How's the antidote coming along?"
"Better, if people would stop interrupting us." Will said.
"We actually have the basis down, we might actually finish tonight." Connor said pointing to something in the book and handing it over to Will.
"Really?" Luke said. "That's good."
Will looked up at Luke and squinted his eyes. Ever since Jamie had fallen into the coma, Will and Connor had been trying to figure out who the demigod was, Connor was stuck on Mark from the Ares cabin, but Will wasn't sure, he had a nagging feeling that Luke was it.
It wasn't that it was just that Luke was the one who found Jamie, but it was that Luke had always acted more friendly towards Jamie than others. He was also really noisy about everything that was going on.
"So how do you know this is going to work?" Luke asked.
"Because it has too." Connor said.
******
It was around 11 at night that Will and Connor finished. "Do you think it will work?" Connor asked as they both eyed the golden liquid in the vile.
"I don't think it will wake her up right away, but it will hopefully speed up to process." Will said tucking the vile in his pocket.
"You're taking it with you?" Connor asked.
"I don't trust it here. Whoever, made that snake attack Jamie will most likely be after this potion. The safest place for it, is with me."
"You're probably right." Connor said, and he perked up like he had just come up with a brilliant idea. "We should put a decoy potion in it's place. Travis and I have some of this stuff that if you get it on your skin, it will make you blister like crazy, so if the bastard does end up taking the potion, we will be able to find out who it is."
"Sounds good, go get it." Connor ran off, and Will grabbed another vile. Finally, Connor came back and Will started mixing the fake potion with other stuff to make it look like the real potion. Once he was done he put it on the table where they had been working. "Hopefully, whoever it is, falls for this."
******
Will slept with the potion under his pillow, and he prayed to his father the whole night for this to work. Once day arrived, he got dressed and made his way down to the Med Bay.
Connor came barreling out of the building, and he looked at Will. "It's gone!" He said. Everyone in the surrounding area looked over at the two of them. "The potion is gone!"
Now everyone knew what Will and Connor were trying to achieve, and now that the potion was gone, they started to realize that whoever had summoned the snake had taken the potion, and soon a crowd began to gather, until Chiron showed up.
