3 and a half weeks later.

Dear Diary,

It's been almost four weeks since he's been gone. Christmas is less than a few days away. I am going before Christmas shopping with Rebekah today as it apparently is a tradition for her. Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year. There was a time when I was in Mystic Falls and the trees were covered in snow and Bonnie, Caroline, Matt, Tyler, Jeremy and I all had a snowball fight. The girls got me real good until we teamed up against the boys. This will be the first year without having them for Christmas. I want to see them but it's too dangerous going to Mystic Falls if Katherine by chance is still around that area.

There has been no activity of Aurora or Katherine showing up in the last month which is good. Except wondering if they will show up puts me on edge.

I'm starting to have a baby bump. Davina has been amazing and said maybe in a month's time I can know the gender. Rebekah wants to know if it's a he or she so she can start planning a nursery for me.

The thought of wanting to know if Klaus will come home for Christmas keeps at me. I haven't admitted that I miss him but I do. Maybe he has forgotten all about me I think. It's easier that way. To think that next year I'm going to have my child with me at Christmas. The mating bond side effects and perks haven't started. Did he do something to cut out the links to one another? Kol Informed me on what the mating bond brings and yet I haven't had any of it. No hearing each other's thoughts, nothing!

I have to wrap things up as Rebekah is nagging me to go now.

"Elena hurry up, let's go" This is the fifth time she has called out to me in the past five minutes. I hurry down to Rebekah with my belongings. "Took you long enough. Now I have a credit card which you can buy anything you want and as much as you want. Alright Elijah, Kol, we're leaving now" Rebekah informs me.

This is going to be a long day.

With Rebekah shopping was a must. Endless amount of money to spend, endless amounts of clothes to try on. I had four bags already full of stuff. From clothes to items Rebekah picked out for me and Christmas presents. I've managed to buy one for all of the Mikaelsons and my family back home. The easiest of them all were Damon and Stefan. A bottle of bourbon for Damon, Stefan a bottle of bourbon and a journal. Bonnie and Caroline were a bit harder as they're my best friends. I got Bonnie and Caroline plane tickets to France which Rebekah helped me with. The Mikaelson's were the hardest of them all though. Finding something for Rebekah was tricky as she is with me but I did find this little photo scrapbook to do with family. Rebekah had always wanted a family of her own so I thought she could put what she has together. I also got her a voucher to some sort of spa place. Kol and Elijah both got liquor and something extra. I also got gifts for Jeremy, Cameile, Davina, Marcel, Haley, Alaric, and even Klaus.

Christmas shopping is one of my favourite times to shop. I'm now stuck in a changing room for a dress for Christmas. I've tried on six other dresses but the one I've got on now I like the best. It's a red off the shoulder dress with flower detailing. It hugs half of my body but flows out and is mid length. With the dress I had on black strappy heels. Please like this one Rebekah. I open the curtain of the changing room and walk out to Rebekah.

"That's it! That's the dress. Oh Elena it's gorgeous on you, even shows off your baby bump" Rebekah squeals. Oh thank god I don't know what I would've done if she didn't like it. "And the shoes match, I say get both and then do a little more shopping, get a bite to eat and go back home. Good with you?" Rebkah plans.
