Arielle's P.O.V

Carl, Mom and I decide to help feed the chickens. I notice Patricia acting a bit strange but I just brush it off and turn my attention to mom who looks a bit worried about something.

"Hey mom, are you okay?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'm fine sweetheart," she replies. "Why?"

"Oh nothing, you just look a bit-"

"Worried," Carl interjects.

"It's my job," Mom replies.

"No it's not. You're a housewife," Carl retorts.

"BURN! High five Carlson!" I cheer as we high five eachother.

"Yeah you punks? You see my house around here?" Mom replies, throwing chicken food at us. "A housewife," Mom adds, smiling while shaking her head.

"They don't have a mother," Carl points out.

"Yeah... maybe she's somewhere else," I reply.

"Maybe she got eaten," Carl suggests.

"Well, everything is food for something else," Mom states.

At that moment I noticed Patricia slip away.

"Uh mom, I'm gonna go see dad," I lie.

"Okay sweetie."

"Later Elsie," Carl says.

"Later Carlson, see yah mom."

I walk off and I slowly follow behind Patricia as she walks to the barn with a wheelbarrow. As she goes up the stairs I sneak around the side of the barn. All I hear is moaning and groaning, kinda like rotters, a lot of them. I peer through the gap of the barn.

"Oh my..." I gasp.

I watch in horror as patricia drops live chickens down to a bunch of rotters in the barn. I slowly back away and run towards the camp.

Glenns P.O.V

Okay so Lori's pregnant and I only know. Not even Ari, Rick or Carl knows! Plus there's walkers in the barn... Oh man this isn't gonna end well.

"Uh here's some peaches for you Dale."

"Mm, thank you," Dale replies.

"Mornin'," Shane greets.

"Morning," I reply.

"Sup?" He asks.

Why would he ask that? Nothing's up at all... Am I acting weird or nervous or something?

"Ah nothing's up... Why?" I coolly reply.

Shane eyes me for a bit then shrugs it off. Ari approaches the camp looking a bit pale like she's seen a ghost.

"Hey Ellie," Shane greets, giving her a hug.

"Hey Shane," she softly replies.

"Sup?" Shane says, pulling back and resting his hands on her shoulders.

"Ah nothing's up... Why?" She replies, with a nervous chuckle.

Oh god what's going on... Don't lie Ari.

"Jeez, you're spending to much time with Glenn sweetheart, saying the exact same things as each other," Shane snickers and gives Ari a kiss on the forehead then leaves.

Ari glances over at me then quickly follows behind Shane.
