Delusional or nah?

"Psst hey! Psst Ellie wake up. Arielle it's me! You found me! Come on, follow me!"

My eyes flutter open and I turn to my right to see Sophia staring at me. She's pale, her clothes are ripped and she has a massive bite taken out of her left shoulder.

"Sophia? Are you dead?" I ask.

"Don't be silly Arielle, I'm here right now talking to you! Of course I'm not dead, here grab my hand, I wanna show you where I'm hiding," she says as she holds her hand out to me with a grin plastered on her face.

I take her hand and smile back at her even though I'm slightly creeped out with her bitten shoulder.

"I'm so glad I found you! Or you found me. You know whatever, I'm glad we found eachother. I miss all of yous! but especially my beautiful momma," she says as she smiles up at me.

"I'm glad you're here Sophia. We all miss you so much," I sadly smile down at her.

"I know Ellie, I've been watching. I lied... I just didn't want you to run away from me," she sadly replies. I walk foward and stop in front off her.

"Sweetie I'd never run away from you," I reassure her as I tuck her hair behind her ear,"if anything I'd be running towards you."

She giggles at me, "I always knew we'd be friends Ellie. I wish we could be sisters though."

"Honey we can still be sisters," I say.

"No we can't! I'm dead Ellie," she cries.

I pull her into a hug and cry with her. We stay like this for what seems like hours before she takes me to the place where she is.

"How'd you get bit baby girl?"

"As soon as Mr Rick left, I tried to run back the way we came but I ran the wrong way. I carried on running, obviously in the wrong direction, then out of nowhere, a walker came from the left side and bit into my shoulder. I fell over and tried to scream but I couldn't say anything. I kicked it in the head then got up an ran for my life. Well I was running away from the walker I slipped down this cliff," she says as she shows me the cliff which is also the same one Daryl found her doll and also fell down. "This is also where Mr Daryl fell down," she tells me causing me to giggle aswell, "anyways, I dropped my dolly in the water but two more walkers ran after me so I ran without stopping. That's when the fever started getting to me. Everything was going blurry and I couldn't see. I saw another walker coming for me but a big man caught him with a pole. He said a little prayer before he killed it then he started talking to me telling me to stay awake. I couldn't though so I fell asleep and when I woke up he used the pole on me and lead me here."

I look up from Sophia to see Hershels farm.

"You are in the barn aren't you?" I ask.

"Yep! Been trying to tell my momma I'm here but she never listens," Sophia sulks. "Watch this," she says as she pulls me along to the camp.

We stand in front of Carol, Patricia, Beth, Mom, Glenn and Maggie.

"Hi everyone!" Sophia cheerily says, as if they're gonna answer. "Hi momma, I love you and miss you so very much!" Sophia says as she clings onto Carols waist.

"Is anyone else feeling cold right now?" Carol asks, as rubs her arms for warmth.

"Carol you're shivering. Are you okay?" Mom asks.

"Mom," I say.

Mom looks up and looks around. Eyes wide.

"Sometimes they'll here you, sometimes they don't," Sophia shrugs, "she heard you though," she adds with a smile.

I watch her walk over and sit in front of Carl as he does his math sums.

"I miss Carl a lot," she huffs.

"He asks about you everyday honey, he's smart to because he said you'll love it here too," I tell her.

"He was always really smart. I do love it here, it's so beautiful. But most of the horsies are scared of me," she sadly says.

"Daryl I know you care about her but go and rest. She's gonna be fine. If anything happens you'll be one of the first to know. She'll be pissed if you just sat there for a whole nother day," Dad says.

I walk towards the front door. I peer through the window into the front room where I lay looking lifeless.

"Oh fuck me... This is like one of those weird out of body experience movies," I mutter.

"I shouldn't've said those things Rick. I didn't mean it. I was just still pissed at Shane," Daryl says.

"Heat of the moment, I get it. Plus I think she would've been provoking you Daryl," Dad says while chuckling and shaking his head. "When she wakes up all will be forgiven. Don't sweat it. But if you stay here, be prepared to get yelled at."

"Damn straight!" I say.

Daryl eventually gets up to leave. Dad leaves with Hershel into the forest.

"They're gonna collect more walkers Ellie," Sophia tells me.

I sit on a log and chat with Sophia for a while.

"Ellie, it's time," Sophia says.

"Time for what?" I ask.

"Time for you to set me free. Arielle you have to get me out of the barn and shoot me. I don't wanna be in there anymore," she sadly replies.

"How Soph? Am I still alive?" I ask.

"Yes of course! But guess what!" She excitedly says.

"What's that babydoll?"

"You will always be able to see me now! Everyone else who dies too! You have a connection with us. The dead. You'll always be able to talk to me and see me!" She cheerily says.

"Really?" I asked shocked, but happy.

"Yes! Isn't that cool?!"

"It's amazing Soph! I'm glad you'll always be in my life. So we can be sisters," I say.

"Yes oh my gosh!" She replies and tackles me off the log and hugs me tightly. "I love you Ellie, I'll always watch over you and everyone else. Thank you guys for trying so hard to find me. I love you big sister."

I hug her tightly and cry into her hair.

"I'd do anything for you sweetheart. I love you so much baby sister. I'll always be here for you whenever you're feeling lonely up there. I love you. I'm so sorry."

"Don't Ellie! It's not anyones fault! I wasn't made for this world so it's okay. Just please tell momma I love her and thank Mr Daryl for me please."

"Of course honey."

"Now go to sleep and then you'll wake up. Do it, I wanna be free big sis."

"Anything for you lil sis."

I hug her tightly then kiss her on the forehead. I wave to her as she smiles and watches me as she disappears into the forest.

"For Sophia."

I lay down and soon I'm welcomed by darkness yet again.

Seems as so Ari can now connect with spirits. I'm aware Sophia was not fully dead but this is obviously not real so it's gonna have some weirdness every now and again.
