Luther's P.O.V
"He's such a big boy now. Aren't you Louie?" Ari chuckles, as she bounces the big 19 month old on her knee.
                              "Awiellie, Ouie hungy," he gurgles.
I start to feed him the porridge Carol made up.
"How's your a- How are you Ari? Physically and emotionally?" I ask.
"Physically, much better. I feel so alive and like reborn. Emotionally... I'm getting there," she sighs.
"How are you and Daryl?" I cautiosly ask.
"Okay... Well we say hi to eachother all the time, not much of a conversation. I should've apologized ages ago... I mean, I still haven't," she huffs.
"Better late then never," I put down the bowl and pick up Louie of Arielle. "Honey, I suggest... You apologize, even though your actions were pretty much justified, but if it makes you feel more at ease, do it. I don't want you thinking you've lost him. You haven't, he just needs you more than ever but he doesn't know how to show it," I add.
"Why the fuck aren't you the group counselor? Like shit. Thank you Loots," she hugs Louie and I. "I'll talk to you two later," she adds, before kissing Louie on the forehead and then me on the cheek.
"Good luck baby girl!" I call out.
"Thank you honey buns!" She calls back.
                              Arielle's P.O.V
I head out to the courtyard where a lot of people are gathered for breakfast.
                              "Morning Ellie."
                              "Good Morning Ari!"
                              "Mornin' Elle."
I wave and reply to all the cheery people. I spot Glenn, Carol and Daryl. I slowly walk up behind them.
"Good morning Glennifer!" I shout as I jump on his back. He jolts in suprise, as Carol laughs at my immaturity.
"Good morning my love child," Glenn giggles, "you're happy this morning."
"Ain't I always?" I retort, as I peck him on the cheek then jump back on the ground. "Morning Daryl. Morning Carol," I add.
"Mornin'," Carol and Daryl reply in unison.
"Ah no... Just like last week, I jumped on your bed to wake you up and you kneed me in the balls," Glenn shudders.
"Hey! In my defense... I thought you were a rapist," I say, throwing my hands up innocently. Daryl snorts and Carol laughs.
"Wow... 14 years together and you mistaken me for a rapist," Glenn shakes his head in disappointment.
"Hey it happens! When I wake up next to Carl I still sometimes think it's my best friend I used to sleep with in high school," I shrug. Instantly regretting how I worded it.
"You forgetting to tell us a lil bit about good ol' Arielle," Carol smirks.
"Totally innocent! I meant like at sleepovers and shit we'd sleep in the same bed. Sleep. That's all," I declare.
                              "Nice," Glenn smirks.
"Hey!" I chuckle. I playfully, pretend to kick him, then punch him. He effortlessly dodges it. "I used to sleep with you all the time. Btw you sleep talk about pizzas."
                              "It happens," Glenn innocently shrugs.
                              Later that day...
"I want you to be extra damn careful on this run today Arielle," dad says.
