Well to be fair they were in attic, in 1998, 1,200 bones from human bodies were found in the basement of Ben Franklin's house. The bodies were used in the study of human anatomy, "The most plausible explanation is not mass murder, but an anatomy school run by Benjamin Franklin's young friend and protege, William Hewson,". Conservationists were doing repairs looking to turn Franklin's house into a museum. Forensic investigations showed that the bones dated to Franklin's day. "Franklin was probably aware of the illegal studies going on in his building," the Benjamin Franklin House said completely ignoring the possibility Benjamin Franklin could've been America's Founder Father of American Killers.
