Koko the Gorilla had pet kittens. Originally the handlers didn't want to give her kittens as they believed it to be a bad idea. However they did end up getting a kitten to her, because she knew the difference between stuffed kittens and real kittens. Soon after having her first kitten, she ripped a sink off from a wall, and later blamed it on her kitten.
