There was a mystery in Anne Frank's diary where brown paper was covering her writing. No one really knew how to look at what she had written until modern image processing technology uncovered four dirty jokes and 33 lines about sex. Though, this isn't very shocking as she had recorded jokes and sex in other chapters. It was most likely hidden from her parents or other people that were around her. Yet it's surprising that she was able to hide it for so long. Though it doesn't change much thoughts on her... considering her diary already has many sexual and risque contents.
So you might ask why I decided to write a chapter on a somewhat lacking fact considering anyone who had sat down and read the book would know Anne Frank had written juvenile thoughts. I just found the title too good to pass up. But it is quite interesting that a pesky piece of brown paper created a mystery, which took several decades to uncover and learn that Anne Frank more to say about sex and jokes.
