Crickets Could Be Better Musicians Than You

Composer Jim Wilson has recorded sounds of crickets and then slowed down the recording, revealing something that crickets have been hiding within the chirps. The crickets sound like they are singing the most angelic chorus in perfect harmony.

Apparently the cricket sounds were originally recorded by the late Native American producer/musician Jim Wilson and used, with overdubbed lyrical narration, for the song "Twisted Hair" (also known as "Ballad of the Twisted Hair") which was issued on a spoken word and musical exploration album credited to Wilson's Little Wolf Band (along with Wilson's uncle, David Carson).

Though, some people believe it's a lie or a hoax, however it's not like someone has done it again to see if it's true. Even Snope.com can't prove or disprove this one.

Here's a link to an undubbed version. Though do realize it's two tracks in one. One where you'll hear the crickets and the second being the slowed down version.  www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP6JGlv32nw
