Waiting for the sirens

Signs, any signs I'm alive still

They lay her down on the stretcher and carried her to a small cabin on the other side, away from the eyes of the passengers.

Soon enough an IV tube was slid in her vein once more, and the wound cleaned and bandaged properly, after an hour of intense struggling.

The doctor sighed, the wound was stable for now. Her vitals remained quite regular yet he kept checking at his watch, hoping to approach the time of the landing so they could offer a proper treatment.

A grunt made his eyes snap in the direction of his patient who shifted and sat up, taking off the oxygen mask.

"Ya ya ya, don't remove that! You need it!! And lie back down y-"

"I'm fine. I feel much better."her voice sounded hoarse and she blinked a few times to keep her eyes open.

"I'm serious though, you need that oxygen and you have to lie down until the landing."

She waved him off with a motion of the hand.

"I'm telling you I'm fine."she repeated.

"..."

"When are we landing?"

"In approximately thirty minutes. How are you feeling?"

"Awesome."she groaned and glanced at the painkiller slowly dripping down the IV tube.

"Thanks for that."she motioned with her finger while he simply nodded in return.

"You should seriously lie down, at least until the landing, otherwise I'm going to have to strap you down on the bed to avoid any unnecessary bleeding."the doctor warned and she scowled at him, before lying back down with a grunt.

As the plane touched the concrete ground and rolled down the landing area, the doctor explained loudly, trying to cover up the noise from the plane.

"We'll get you out first and get you to the medical ward at the airport, just for a quick check up then we'll be good to go."

She nodded and inhaled through the oxygen mask, showing a thumb up.
The plane shook slightly sending a searing pain through her body and a memory flashed before her eyes, a jewelry, the blade of a knife, a pair of eyes and the screams of a child.

Unable to make anything out of it, she gripped onto the side of the bed and waited for the plane to slow down and come to a stop.

Once it finally did, the doctor helped her up and made sure she was able to walk not too painfully. Yuri made her way to the door and looked around for Jungkook, wondering when she'd finally be away from all these people she didn't know.

A good ten minutes later, the BTS members came out of the plane, making their way through the building and struggling to stay awake. They were in the part of the airport where no one could see them yet and the cameras were off.
