Six months later
"Come on, Yuri we have to go."
"I don't want to, I'm fine."the young woman groaned, sprawled on the sofa in a cozy blanket, making Jungkook shake his head with a smile.
"Love come on, it's for the best."
It took a lot more persuasion to get her in the car and to the hospital as she whined the entire time until they entered the doctor's office, sitting in front of the desk.
After a few minutes, the doctor entered with Yuri's files in hand, giving a worried Jungkook a reassuring nod.
"We've finalized the tests."he said, taking a seat in front of the couple, as Yuri quirked an eyebrow.
"So... what is it? Am I dying?"she asked, "Coz it really feels like it."she groaned while Jungkook clicked his tongue at her, rolling his eyes playfully at his dramatic wife.
"No, not at all."the doctor smiled. "It's actually good news."he added.
"I'll be the judge of that."Yuri snapped, making the doctor gulp and nod his head quickly, suddenly less confident in what he had to say.
"Um... well the test results show that um... you're pregnant! Congratulations!"he tried, grinning widely as Yuri's jaw dropped to the floor, missing Jungkook's awed but thrilled expression.
"I'm wHaT?"
"Pregnant!"
"You're kidding right?"
"Um... no, I er... the tests results are positive and yeah, they show that you're 2 months pregnant."
There was a silence as Yuri spaced out, taking in the news. Jungkook turned to her, holding her hand with a small smile.
"That's good, love."
"Good??"she repeated turning to him, "Jungkook we said we'd wait a few years, not.. 1, 2..4 months before we make a freaking baby!"she squealed, internally terrified.
"Look, I know we hadn't planned this right now, but maybe this is a sign, and I feel like we're ready...?"he tried as she shot him a blank look.
"Ready??? No I'm not ready!"she argued and Jungkook winced.
"Look, it's your decision, whatever it is.. I er... I'm fine with it."he said slowly as she eyed him for a moment, quirking an eyebrow.
"You are a terrible liar."she chuckled.
