a very simple secret:
it is only with the heart that one can see rightly;

He vanished inside some street as the young girl waited patiently, keeping her head low as she felt that familiar sensation again. The familiar feeling of being watched. Carefully. A deep sigh escaped her lips and she groaned internally. "We simply cannot take a break can we?"

In a heartbeat, Yuri whirled around, locking eyes with the stalker. The spot was exactly the one in between the building, obviously a great spot to watch without being seen... but she knew all about that, didn't she? She was used to watching people, and following them?

Her frown deepened at the realization her eyes holding the quiet and wary stare reflecting her own and unwavering, no matter how many people walked past.

As a bus broke the eye contact, she cursed under her breath. She noted with very little surprise that the person had suddenly vanished once the bus cleared her field of vision.

With no second thoughts, she pushed herself towards the empty spot, making her way through and crossed the road quickly, barely avoiding a man on a bike.

Her legs carried her to the place now clear from the person watching's presence. Glaring hard at the emptiness of the spot, she whirled around, trying to catch some details, some clues perhaps.

Yet once she realized she had no idea what to look for or expect in the first place, a deep heavy sigh escaped her lips and she passed a hand through her hair in frustration. "Dammit."

However, her stubbornness ushered her to look further and soon enough, the young woman was roaming the streets, eyes sharp and desperate to catch at least one suspicious detail. Once your mind is set on finding such a thing, every little item looks suspicious. Yuri knew that very well.

Whirling around, she could swear the place gave her a feeling a familiarity, and the pictures flashing through her mind only proved her point, even if she couldn't exactly get a clear view of these 'memories ', they were still triggered by nothing more than the sight of the street itself.

"It has to mean something, come on come on think Yuria, THINK!"she rubbed her temples and rounded a corners she heard footsteps. Her body stiffened and she frowned, trying to locate the person by sound. Following her senses, she rounded another corner, the steps getting clearer by the minute. That person was running.

Diving into some other narrow street where the steps seemed to come from, she suddenly halted, coming face to face with a tall kid, some teenager sprinting past her, muttering some quick apology as he nearly knocked into her.

Eyes wide, Yuri froze, realizing how dumb her impulsive attitude had been. She chased after some random kid just because she heard him running??

"No no no, but there WAS something!"she grunted frustratedly, pulling onto her hair with a groan.
