♡♡" Never planned that one day, I'd be losing you
In another life, I would be your girl,
We'd keep all our promises, be us against the world,
In another life, I would make you stay, ..."

Jimin sucked in a breath, adjusting the bands around his hands and shifting further into the car seat.

Hopefully tonight would go all right. Sungwoon was smoking a cigarette just outside after doing what Yuri had tasked him with.

The blonde man heard his phone buzz and checked on the screen, only to ignore Yoongi's call once more. He needed to focus.

Yuri and Jungkook had just gone into the warehouse when Jeha gave them the signal that the coast was clear.

His eyes darted around the place, knowing well enough the car was nicely hidden from anyone entering the perimeter. He was the only backup for Jungkook and Yuri, and he took his role very seriously.

If anything was to go wrong he would intervene. He knew, just like the rest of them, how risky that rescuing mission was. It could lead an unknown number of people to attack them for some reason and their lives would soon be at stake.

But he refused to let that mess with his head and make him step out of the mission.

He'd always felt a certain need to be of actual use instead of remaining the useless bystander. He cared about Jungkook and Yuri, and seeing them fight against the rest of the world to protect themselves made him want to help, give a hand.

The young man knew he still didn't fully realize what he was risking but there was too much to lose. He couldn't afford it. So he'd decided he would join the fight.

And now there he was, in the car, waiting for the signal to sneak in and help out. He'd paid thorough attention to the training sessions Yuri had accompanied them through.

He could make something of himself in there. He could be smarter than his opponent. He could win a fight. He believed in himself.

Yoongi cursed as the call was sent straight to voicemail.

"Fuck!"he muttered, angry and anxious. Something was obviously going on and no one had told him about it. Jimin had disappeared, and no one would tell him anything.
